And Brolin's claim that Meryl Streep would replace Anne Ramsey is quite interesting. With all the junk being made, it's a pretty safe gamble that people will go to a Goonies sequel.

see i sorta disagree with you on that one, i mean he was successful after rudy he went on to do lord of the rings but after Lord of the rings he didn't do that much.

Sean astin did not have any really good movies after the goonies except Rudy. Josh brolin on the other hand has been in the Oscar winning film, no country for old men, w, and as far as I can tell, he is a very gifted actor, and he will be a sure Oscar winner some day.
