There is no ship like the NORWAY was, I'm glad I got to sail on her 3 times. Aug. 22, 1992 (2 days before Hurricane Andrew came into Homestead, FL), May 1994 and in June 2002, we almost got a fourth cruise, until the boiler explosion took her away. They don't build them with class now, they build with filling them with as many passengers as they can. And that's very, very sad.
There was a huracane brewing when I got of the plane in Miami. we did not visit Charleston because the water was to rough to tender there. I do have some video of our day at sea in 30 foot seas. I will try to find and post that too.
oh dear, I spent a year and a half working on this ship 94 -96 and just hearing the ships horn has made me cry! Alot of memories on the old blue pig.

We couldn't make it into Charleston for some reason and sailed for New York, then cross the pond. Great cruise.
