hahaha people if it was a travel I think media would be making a bigger deal out of this, he did not have possession of the ball until he was on his feet. the ball never left the ground until both of his feet were planted. If the ball was off the ground it would be considered carrying the ball and as we all know you can only take two steps while carrying the ball, otherwise it would be a travel, but he didn't do that. So no it wasnt a travel, stop being babies about it

I was snapping when they didn't call a travel on this play. I hate to admit by observing this video, it "wasn't a travel". I think we get this play confused when someone dives for the ball, picks the ball up, and then gets up rather than what Rondo just did.

Here, Rondo gains possession of the loose ball, establishes a pivot (left foot), then dribbles. A legal play in the NBA, but not one in any other basketball league.

But seriously, J-Will was in a tough position. If he dives for the ball he could get called for either traveling or be forced to call an unwanted timeout. Jason didn't slack off...in fact he had almost overrun the ball and needed to slow down at the end. Rajon made a great play, but Jason was just in an awkward situation.
