Brilliant! I remember going to see Jimmy in Weymouth in the 80's when my ship was at Portland.The huge gang of women all wearing t-shirts was testament to his fame.Very entertaining evening we had too and wish I could have got back to see him again but never did. Rock on Jimmy.....

First saw him at the Admiral Hardy when it was a decent pub in 1993 then went back to Weymouth to see him in Upwey.A fantastic entertainer!!!

I used to go and see JJT at the Golden Eagle in Weymouth whenever we were in Weymouth for a run ashore, he was so bad he was brilliant! This is a great blast from the past Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy

I was just chatting to him today in Londis at the end of Abbotsbury Road which is why I checked him out at YouTube. He has to use a walking stick nowadays but he says he's still performing. And he's certainly still a character.
