As for the Sprayer/Tagger controversy: most commenters seem to have missed the fact that this entire song is DRIPPING with irony. Of course she wants lousy taggers: her aim is not
just to destroy but to utterly deface and defile the false monument she abhors with empty slogans.
Given the ironic context, worst performs the exact same function as schlecht in the original: both in meaning & in sound (consonance). Using baddest or illest here is simply trying too hard: theres not a hint of retro-80s-hip-hop slang anywhere in the original German. The singer isnt wearing her hipness on her sleeve: the entire song is a wry stab a monumental, clichéd love songs,
which quite possibly makes it one of the smartest, coolest love songs of all time.

Next to the shoes if you must "By the shoes" is better and closer to the original German.
"Golden writing"? Golden script is more poetic and is, again, closer to the original.

"Heute Abend" as she sings means "tonight" or "this night", but I'll give you that my translation of that line is a bit messy. That "every idiot" thing, I know it's not directly translated, I just thought it sounded more English to write even a instead of every. But I'll try to patch up the rest.

She sings about what she's going to do. That is take a sledge hammer and use it on the monument. And becaus this won't be enough, she want's to hire the worst taggers.
Worst, in this context, because she actually want's it destroyed and humiliated.
