My Jetta has play in the shifter also =\
I wanna know what it is that is causing it
so I can fix it already.

@mattt62586 Actually yes, I found this part number in a thread on FocalJet: 97ZZ-7335-AA for the nylon bushing insert.

@HiImCaysE Oh I don't know if that will change anything. It might, but I have replaced it before, and some play is still there.
@mattt62586 It will definitely get rid of some; you can tell just from the video how much play there is. There is another bushing on the shift linkage on the trans housing that can be rotated to get rid of most of the rest, too.
