True there were NO Black movies in 2000's that were excellent. Most of the Black movies starred Morris Chestnut and Gabrielle Union. The thing I hated about the 90's were all the "hood" movies or movies about living in the ghetto trying to survive. I couldn't relate to any of those movies. I think I'm still living in the afterglow of Love Jones. There are no Black writers trying anymore.
