@Rofleren You are now planning to enter the X Factor, but it will end horribly when Simon Cowell points out that he would rather puncture his eardrums than listen to your wobbly, flat voice.
@ironnickel I'm not saying that I'm an expert - I am not. But you're clearly lifting in a way that could hurt your back. You might just have a super back, but the majority of people would get hurt by that way of lifting. And no, I am not an idiot :)
@Rofleren I am sure you are a perfectly pleasant fellow who may have a modicum of intelligence in some areas of life (singing apparently not being one of them) - however let this not distract you from the fact that when it comes to strength training you are a dribbling imbecile.
@Rofleren No you don't. You are hoping with great fervour that my back will explode, thus making yourself feel smugly superior. You are hurt because of my suggestion that you have the singing skills of an octogenarian.
@ironnickel I'm not you. I don't hope you back gets damaged, why would I? You're just a random youtuber I saw, potentially hurting himself. If your back can take this, then go do it, but it's against the basic rules of good form. Again, I don't hope anything bad happens to you, even though you're saying I'm a bad singer.
@Rofleren You now hold a burning hatred of me for dashing your hopes of youtube stardom - however I am merely informing you that your singing is god awful and that your talents (if any) lie elsewhere, logically you should thank me.
very happy to hear, its great weight you are moving here, but imo you are violating basic safety rules... do your own research on the spinal cords and discs. You will find out what abnormal forces are placed on your disk unevenly due to that back curl in your lift. Undergoing spinal disk recovery surgery is not the sweetest thing on earth, trust me thats what you are asking for :(
The problem with your 'advice' is that it has no context. For example like many youtubers you have no videos of your own to demonstrate your knowledge base of strength training. Thus your statements are useless. It like me saying to a swimmer that swimming is dangerous due to the drowning hazard - this is obvious but has no context.
I'm sincerely sorry for you.

You will hurt your back in the long run, when you do, you need to know that is your own fault. People here are trying to help you.

@Rofleren Ah! Another youtube expert! I've been lifting several decades and my back is fine. People here are idiots, just like you.

oh did i hear his spinal disk popping out? :(
oh was just me, fart :)

Must be the latter as my back is fine.
ironnickel 2 years ago
Right. Cuz who proper form is completely unnecessary in weight training. How silly of me.

Indeed, but now you know better.
ironnickel 2 years ago
Your form is absolutely horrendous.

If you want form go to the ballet.
