Bardock be sure you wont see this shitty Oozaru in the Movie. This Make-up was only a test but never ment to be part of the Movie. They made a totally different "Oozaru-Look" but they didnt released it yet.
Prove it, as they say. That's not make-up and it wasn't a "test" as fox's PR person likes to clean-up with damage control. The movie was already completed. That was the final draft, before the complaints, and most likely fixed during the "reshoot" They purposely released it to get a reaction, whether it was good vs bad. Obviously bad. I have no inclination to see this movie regardless of the 8ft Oozaru. But, for the sake of DB I hope it doesn't look like that.
So far, unless they added cgi to it, yes. But don't expect anything spectacular. It will still be similar to that thing, same as effects of Piccolo Daimao. Whether it's acually been modified is still up in the air, nothing official has been said about the design. Only speculation from other invested parties.

Sean Schemmel of the american dub even snubbed the movie. It looks pretty bleak here.

You do know that the orginal content of DB would be more suitable for teenagers to adults. Japan and Korea are going to get first view of the movie. Believe me they weren't trying, not at all. I know they're also doing another street fighter movie, and Akira, with Leonardo DiCaprioa as Kaneda. Fox made this movie based on the brand name and seems as cheap as possible to make a quick profit hoping peope would flock to the movie based on its title. Arigato for the rating, and yes that is my main gripe, the story is what keep everyone hooked, there's still nothing like it. the story is most important, next is the actual characters themselves. I had hoped this movie would've gone in a more original direction, it's a shame they didn't think outside the box. It's really stunning what they did to Goku, stunning really is an understatement. Prove it, as they say. That's not make-up and it wasn't a "test" as fox's PR person likes to clean-up with damage control. The movie was already completed. That was the final draft, before the complaints, and most likely fixed during the "reshoot" They purposely released it to get a reaction, whether it was good vs bad. Obviously bad. I have no inclination to see this movie regardless of the 8ft Oozaru. But, for the sake of DB I hope it doesn't look like that.

So far, unless they added cgi to it, yes. But don't expect anything spectacular. It will still be similar to that thing, same as effects of Piccolo Daimao. All that was added was a glowing kyrpton green and purple lips, which Piccolo didn't have, nor did they add the antennas. Akira Toriyama did review the movie, neither he nor the voice actors were impressed, or estatic about it. But were gracious and humble with their wording, the japanese way. But the pronouncement of kamehameha was mocked.

And what I heard since we're going on rumors was it's similiar to hellsing and 8ft which is nowhere near Oozaru's size. Nothing really that spectacular. There are also rumors that state the Oozaru looks like a holloween costume.

Akira was shocked, but was very humble, same with the cast. They were not impressed to say the least and wondered how it was going to work. They also didn't like the new version of the Kamehameha. Sean Schemmel of the american dub even snubbed the movie. It looks pretty bleak here.

lol Yeah it was a low budget film done in the early 80's. Very cheesy, but so was the 80's. Though, they did attempt to stay true to the characters, not all, because it was an unauthorized cheap CHINESE, not japanese, adaptation. Hence the name, Monkey Boy! But that's the past, this is now. No one is going to watch it. Doesn't mean the information stops circulating. DBlam looks even cheesier. A pg rated DB movie? Nah..

You do know that the orginal content of DB would be more suitable for teenagers to adults. Japan and Korea are going to get first view of the movie. DB's been around since the 80's no doubt it's going to attract adults who were into the manga/anime of any age, or any action lover. Age doesn't matter. But the fact that they made it for kids alienated it's true indiscretion. It lost its darker appeal, the bloody ruthless violence, even the pervert sexual advances of Roshi. Which is adult humor.

yeah its been around since the 80s but it just started getting relly famous these last 5 or 6 years or at least it first came out in mexico like 8 years ago and then the in the US like 6 years ago so if doesnt become a hit in mexico neither in the US right? But we'll see how sucky it is right hopefully its not as bad
