  • what a guitar player.he masters both keys and guitar. that's pretty amazing

  • Great cut! I was familiar with David (Forest of Feeling) but had never heard this.

  • JUST AS I THOUGHT IS ONE OF THE " BEST " ALBUMS I HAD EVER OWNED !!! BOUGHT IT IN 1980 !!!

  • Awsome post brother!

  • Who is on drums? Who is the rest of the players???

  • @johnnythelowery

    Please see details.

  • @johnnythelowery Ernest Carter on Drums,

  • Fantastic. Gotta get this now. Have a great time on UK Tour with Mr. Dunnery.

  • Poster 'PhuckHue' (clever, that) said: "its [sic] kinda hard to say unless David says it himself. In the early days of fusion they were all playing clubs before they got on records. Allan could have saw David do it and copied it"

Wrong. It's not hard to say at all. If Sancious had happened on that sound before Holdsworth, we woulda heard it from him first.

We didn't, because he didn't. Sancious was a *respectful visitor*, for which he deserves much credit. But Holdsworth *owns* that turf.

  • Thanks for posting this tune. I was in high school when this came out and I gave it to a friend to record and of course, NEVER GOT IT BACK.

  • @Timbalero561

Get back to where you once belonged .

    Get back Jo!Jo!! XD

  • if you get around to posting that song...........that would be cool............dying to hear that song again

  • @rdartis

    O.K.!! coming soon.

  • any chance you've got 'suite (for the end of an age)' from the same album??

  • Message to Mr. David Sancious:

This is the shit, son! Why aren't you out there, large? YOUR GAME IS ESTABLISHED!!! You should be playing for the president. Seriously. Love your work... just would like to see and hear more of it.

    Peace.

  • SO SO SO damned good.

  • David's music is timeless, sonunds like the first time I heard this recording. He is a gifted musician and Great musicians on all tracks.

  • great song, David plays everything except drums

  • oops T.M. Stevens is playing electric during the solos

  • I always wondered why David's guitar solo sounded like Allan Holdsworth. who copied who

  • I love David's playing and Allan's genius. But "that sound" is without doubt David paying homage to Allan.

Allan had crafted that tone and legato long before this was recorded.

MAN THIS TUNE ! Incredible music. Thanks for posting I -Tunes is asleep at the switch with my man Sancious.

  • its kinda hard to say unless David says it himself. In the early days of fusion they were all playing clubs before they got on records. Allan could have saw David do it and copied it

  • @PhuckHue2

No it's not hard to say. Allan's tone/style was established before "they were all playing clubs" please look up
