@dkjw14 I would have to say that Dave has always played some part in it, even though he hasn't been in the band since 84'. They didn't invite him to the Hall Of Fame Induction for the hell of it. They didn't bother to invite Ron McGovney did they? Even though most of the rumors between Metallica and Megadeth being at each other's throats were a crock of shit, Dave and his band at least gave 'Tallica some good competition. That kept Metallica on their toes all these years.
