If you go to Marshall's you can get it for half price :) I ended up paying $32 for mine. Again, I ADORE this product!!! ^.^

  • @MrPatriciaponte 140 bucks?!?! I saw this on Amazon for 45 bucks.

  • @MrPatriciaponte $140bucks??? Are you serious??? It's a Conair(cheap brand). The thing isn't worth more than $50. I am sorry to say you got ripped off!

  • Ive had that straghetener for a year now put the water is now leaking and it doesnt straghten my corse thick hair any more i dont think i recoment it

  • Where can you buy this and how much is it??

  • and it costs how much?

  • im getting this before school definately!(: i have very i mean VERY curly, thick, short, frzzy hair & very hard to manage when curly!so i just want to wake up every morning straighten my hair in less than 30 minutes!!!

  • my friend has very thick frizzy hair & she got this for christmas & it works great & i have very i mean VERY curly hair cause i am mixed & its thick, frizzy, short & she said it would work on mine!i dont know, school is coming up & i want to find a straightener that i can wake up &straighten in 20 minutes.do you think this would work?

  • I like these flat irons, but I find that it works best when I just straighten my hair. Whenever I try to do any styles my hair get caught on the plates which can be very scary when you need to remove it quickly so that you are not burning your hair. I only paid $50 for these and they are worth the price.

  • does it damage hair?

  • i HAVE THIS STRAIGHTNER,.MAINLY I GOT T BECAUSE ITS RED,.

I DONT REALLY USE IT BECAUSE MY HAIR IS CURLY AND I SPEND A HOUR&30MIn, SO WHATEVER.,BUT I DONT REALLY LIKE IT:/

  • I have this and it really works! Sure I had to pay $100 dollars at KMart but my hair has never looked as good as I do it with this product. Even when I go on vacation I never forget it! I love it (:

  • @marisgore123 I got mine at I think Sears for around $80

  • @marisgore123

i got it really cheap at target,.

  • @marisgore123 at target for $40!!

  • This is better than the overpriced GHD.

  • Do you need any heat protection before using it? & Where can you buy it :3

  • Do you need any heat protection before using it? & Where can you buy it :3

  • Do you need any heat protection before using it? & Where can you buy it :3

  • @Kayteematee, which babyliss have you got? :) x

  • This is on sale for $79.99 Canadian right now and I was planning to get it. But I am trying to choose between that and purchasing an original CHI 1" on eBay (which comes to around 60-70$ Canadian). I know CHI is like.. renowned, but which would you guys recommend? I have thin, naturally straight hair that I'd like to straighten more to achieve the pin-like effect. Also, does this work as a curler too like CHI?

  • Anyone use non distilled water?

  • i have thiss iis soooooo Good nd ii only paid 50$ ! the best wun i ever bouqht

  • i want this :(

  • I WANT ITTTTT O_O

  • no....i think its da same coz our one $100.00

  • i have this. it rocks, i love it, and it makes my hair soo smooth.

  • SO WhiCh iiZ bEttA

diZ fLAtiRON OR dA IN StyLER

  • this is better.

the in styler sucks.. i bought it off of the t.v commercial and when it came to my house i used it but it worked like crap! so then i saw this straightener and bought it and i saw a huge difference in my hair (:

  • @EdwardCullen258lover word. i hate the instyler. it leaves my hair straight, but REALLY frizzy.

  • @ShAWNiibOOh101 I've tried both of them, and I like this one better. The instyler worked great at first, but it got worse over time and for some reason, it started rotating the wrong way and got my hair tangled up so badly. Instyler is much better for making curls though :)

  • yeah this straightner is hella good cuz my hair barely got straight and my friend let me borrow her infiniti conair...and big results usually i have wavy hair even wen i straighten em but this kept my hair perfectly straight for quite long time

  • just saying... you really shouldnt be using a cheap straightener because it really damages ur hair!

  • got mine for christmas.........itwas a waste of money i have curly hair andit desnt work :(

  • No offence but it's the fault of your hair, were like 50 people to like this product and your like the only one who doesn't.

  • i got this straightener for christmas last year. worked great for a while!

the steam gets hot so watch your skin.. :p but the steam doesnt really help my hair.. it makes it even more poofy.

    - the retractable combs may seem like a plus.. but they tug on your hair and eventually break it :/

  • will ur hair still be straight for the next day without the steam??

  • Babyliss and conair are the same thing, in the US it's called conair, in Europe (and Canada) it's mostlye called babyliss.

  • i like it but my hair is straight but when i wake up it gose all eww i need to get 1 of theses.

  • i find it mysterious how so much heat doesn't damage my hair (although its 'steam')

I love this product ! Finally, i don't have to spend time and money at the hairdresser anymore :)

  • @yammilet22

You wouldn't really get big curls, but when your flat ironing, curve the flat iron upwards, as if you're using a curling iron

  • I swear babyliss have the exact same thing !

  • Lol thats true

  • @thmujkilo Babyliss and conair are exact the same thing, in Europe (and canada, I think) we call it babyliss most of the time, but in America they call it conair ;)

  • i just got it for $40 at ross hahah :)

  • dude r u fohreals???:D haha, they sell it at target for 50 bucks

  • really $50 u sure?? i'm gonna check...coz i been using my revlon for couple years but its okay now..nd i need another soon..lolz

  • It works really well, but I have to constently refill the steam thing.

  • how much is it?

  • Never again will I buy a straightner with a little steamer or a comb built into the plate. I had the maxiglide a long time ago and after awhile the steamer just started leaking the water out and frying my hair and the straightner itself. The comb pulled out my hair even though it was detangled. Im sticking with my chi :).

  • Agreed.except for the chi those are too much to pay for a straightner

  • It sounds good, but I don't know. I've had a conair straightner before, and by the end of the day my hair was really poofy.

  • I got this straightener yesterday

And I have african american hair, like really tight, frizzy uncontrolable hair. I am a white , 14 year old girl.

    Itdoes not look attractive.

This straiightner was so fast! It straightened my hair soo easily.

Its still straight now and I slept on it!

I love this straightener and I'm never using another one again :)

  • i use pantene shampoo and conditioner and it makes my hair sooo shiny and soft! sooo you ppl should use that before straightening. and it stays soft too! also, use a HEAT PROTECTION. or else your hair will get frizzy! :D sooo yea ok i really want this straightener!.

  • no its works

  • how long does it last on your hair for? like does it keep ur hair straight for long?

    especially on course thick hair??

  • oh trust me go buy a ghd srysly i have ths one and its exactly same as the babyliss one and last like 2 hours before frizzing/curls its crap on thiick hair to

  • thx

  • your hair gets curly when it's humid or when it gets wet

  • ohhh..i already bought it..this straightener is just BRILLIANT! Love it!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

  • Dont Buy This Its Crap i Bot It And it Is The Worst !! cause All The Starightener Goes Mad Hot Like Alll Of It You cant Even Hold It Any more :@

  • all about THE CHI !!!

  • are you supposed to use heat protection spray? will this damage your hair?

  • You can use any styling products of your choice that are made for straightening the hair.

  • @bubblegumpops2 in my opinion , you should always use heat protection just in case.

  • @bubblegumpops2 u should ALWAYS use heat damage preventin spay or some kind of protection,i have the Instyler and i still use heat protection.U can never be to careful

  • this product is horrible nobody get it! i paid $200 and i saw the same thing in the store for $50, plus it damages my hair even with heat protection! it makes my hair so horrible. i hate it, im never ever using conair straighteners again.

  • i Totally Agree ;)

  • Jeeze, I can't even go that slow through my hair even on 140degrees. ):

  • i saw this at canadain tire for $99.99 :P

  • straightener*

  • oh..i am gonna buy this straightner but i don't know..my hair is thick,frizzy and very curly..hope that i will work :):)

  • Dont buy It

  • does this really work?? i mean ..WORK

  • it dosint work

  • i just bought mine. Once i turned it on, i put the water in and put the setting how i wanted them. but it's not getting hot at all not even straightening my hair. what am i doing wrong????????????????????

  • Make sure you have the heat setting set to high; and when you are using it, you are not accidentally switching it off. If it still does not work, you can return it to our customer service and get a new one. This product comes with 5 yrs warranty.

Thank you for using Conair products.

  • Mines keeps shooting out hot water at me why is this?

  • This product comes with 5 yrs warranty. If it is defective, you can return it to our customer service and get a new one.

Thank you for using Conair products.

  • and where is the customer service

  • Could you add heat protection spray in that straightener instead of water?

  • We recommend using water only. Thanks for using Conair products.

  • where can i get dis nd how much would it be roughly aroundd

  • I want to buy it toooo!!

I read the offical website..it says 109...kinda costly... sighs

  • You can get it from Conair online store at $109.99 plus S&H. Pricing varies at retail stores.

  • i got this for christmas.

i love it...but it takes forever to get past the first heat level.

  • Luvvv it

  • (L)

  • I love my hair straightner

  • ive had this since august and i thought it stunk....BUt now i realize that u have to fill it up with water and it works SOO better!!

    HAHA im an idiot!

  • try using beyond the zone heat protectant

  • i have this!

  • i got this i love it (:

  • can i still get this at walmart?

cuz i saw it at walmart when i first saw it in commercial. idk if its still there.. is it?

  • i think it is

or just check online first so you don't waste your time

  • Probly! ^ -^

  • yes its still there i got mine from there

  • I want iT!!!!!!!!!!!

  • thanks for this video!!!! dumb me threw away the directions thinking that i knew what to do with the straightener and then once i used it, i didnt know how to use it correctly!!!

so thanks!! great detailed video!! =)

  • buy solia because it less expensive then chi, sedu, conair

it has adgustable heat temp and u can do whatever to ur hair

cause i got thiss steam conair today and it does not curl or wave at all & the steam is just scary

so i might return it and maybe i might do review on this coniar straightener and remington sleek and curl, and this other coniar

but even though i haven't tried the solia it looks better then all the other straighteners because all the reviews

  • I wanna get it but im not sure if its reaally good..

    Is it?

  • its amazing!!!!!!! its worth getting!! i got mine off ebay for only $55 and it was brand new!!!!!

  • heyy dis isz beezysz cuzzion sraah it isz gud buh itsz not b cuz i tryed it at irst i was shocked how it straightned ma hair so nice it was like pure straight but when i used it the other day it didn't even go straight as it did the first tyme

  • doesn't the steam cook your hair?

  • waitttt i just remembered that the maxiglide is really good too and it uses steam=p

  • A sedu, more expensive, might be better for you, although most will tell you a chi but beware the chi doesnt have different heat settings.=]

  • i was so excited to get it because all of the commercials are amazing and all the people on Tv seem to get great results but it didnt make my hair look any better than my old straightener. But it might work better than other straighteners for you because you have thick wavy hair while i have moderately straight hair already. But my hair feels really dried out after using the straightener.

  • i have thin to medium thickness hair and its not curly why isnt it straightening well, my main problem is it isnt getting the static out at all!!
