This film doesn't answer shit. It doesn't question shit. It's an abysmally bad plot with pretty lights. That's it.
Stop regurgitating the same shit. Aliens wouldn't come here for resources when they can go to the other planets, for the same resources, without the resources being polluted. Add to that, they wouldn't have to fight for those polluted resources. They'd get free, clean resources, at greater quantities. To say that aliens with superior tech wouldn't think of this is asinine.

@Cortessizzz And I'm claiming that aliens WOULD be a lot like us. They wouldn't dumb enough to just come to Earth to start a fight for small amounts of resources, when they can grab them somewhere else.
And yes, to answer your earlier question, I am sure they have the same basic resources. That's fairly common knowledge for those who actually paid attention in class. Some planets have larger quantities of others, but I doubt that would bother aliens that can traverse the cosmos.

Meh, I havent seen anything in the sky for me to believe there could be UFO's so I dunno. But I do know that the Universe is way to big for us to understand it and thus there is life out there.
