  • It's ridiculous how the Republican party is so quick to point out government failures such as Solyndra, "bridge to nowhere", cash for clunkers, and etc.. Yet, they never bring up the numerous cases of the private sector being involved with price fixing, antitrust, pollution, insider trading, fraud, healthcare fraud, violating product safety hazards, tax evasion, bribery, illegal exports, and etc.. All those things take money out of your wallet too. Government regulations exist for a reason.

  • I hope all of you know that this video is a complete lie and distortion. If any of you have any concerns about Reagan, I have studied him for a long time and I can fill you in. Don't be a Kool-aid drinker.

  • @GracieJujitsu1 /watch?v=jBHbGIT0NT4&feature=related

  • Capitalism is clearly working.....my spidey senses tell me that some "expert" is going to post about corporatism and try to rationalize a dividing line......bullshit....capitalism is corporatism, it is inequality, it is suffering, it is immoral...it is the root of all our societal problems and works hand-in-hand with the current crisis of consciousness

  • @jmintube You sir, are a fool. Get educated and stop embarrassing yourself online.

  • I can see how things are MUCH better for America now. Dumping money onto the economy that ONLY the elite can tap, on the tail of the CRA bubble (reinvigorated in 1994 ...taken to the moon by Reins, Dodd ...and OBAMA re: ACORN), followed most lately by the ripping away of the one sacred freedom that makes America, America ...all in the name of "healthcare" ...which is just the latest revenue generator "for the poor" that rapidly widens the gap between elite and everyone else. Wake up. Grow up.

  • kill bankers.

  • What a crooked bunch of presidents we have had for 32 years

  • Bill Hicks: "They LOVE HIM!!! How far up your ass...does this guy's dick have to be, before you realise he's fucking you, man?"

  • Reagan was a Puppet!

  • It's amazing how conservatives think he brought down the USSR. By their own ideology, a state run economy can't succeed. He just used it as an excuse to pump up our own economy with huge deficits.

  • The "rich" create jobs; the poor export money in the form of goods from china.

  • the only thing that "trickles down" are the flames reagan ensures to this day in the gates of hell where he properly deserves to be.

  • @aarowsmith1 By the way, Reagan doubled total government revenues and he slowed the growth of domestic spending. The only reason you see that deficit is first and foremost due to the entitlement state that the liberals created, and secondly around $1 trillion of that debt can be contributed to the military increase that led to the end of the Cold War.

  • @GracieJujitsu1 Yes, it's amasing how layoffs can drive up short-turm profits isn't it, just simple math. Oh corse there's the problem that when the richest citizens have money they do one of three things, They put it in a bank, they export it, or they purchase wants that require little retail and assembly meaning the wealth goes to other rich people. As with investment. That's a FACT, not an opinion.

  • @GracieJujitsu1 Since the money is no longer in the hands of the poor who spend it on goods that require retail and must supply in quantities reletive to the masses of there customers. Supply is removed, the jobs become redundant and the cycle worsens. Breeding poverty and unregulated banks and buisness caused this recession, as did tax cuts for the rich. FACT. Your peice of shit idle debunked in two easy installments of one minit of my time. Thankyou.

  • @GracieJujitsu1 Oh and a pissing contest with soviets who fell apart on there own is NOT cause to run up the debt.

  • @aarowsmith1 has ever had, so sorry, what were you saying? He never sold out to big banks and corporations, 0bama has sold out to big banks. Obama is the most corrupt bastard that has ever been president and even this fool Michael Moore admits that.

Reagan was one of the greats, nobody denies that.

  • @aarowsmith1 Reagan cut inflation from 13% to 4%, he added 16 million new jobs, he increased median family income by $4000 helping the middle class, his policies contributed greatly to defeating the Soviet Union in the Cold War, productivity increased during his years, he doubled the total national assets of the country and tripled the DOW, he restored faith and confidence in the American people, and advocated a supply side approach which led to one of the largest economic expansions the US

  • @GracieJujitsu1 he destroyed the industry,

currencies, jobs and stock numbers are nothing worth if they arent backed by industries

  • Your country is fucked

  • The rate of growth in federal spending fell from 4% under Jimmy Carter to 2.5% under Ronald Reagan. GDP per working-age adult, which had increased at only a 0.8 annual rate during the Carter administration, increased at a 1.8 percent rate during the Reagan administration. he increase in productivity growth was even higher: output per hour in the business sector, which had been roughly constant in the Carter years, increased at a 1.4 percent rate in the Reagan years.

  • I remember when i used to lie to all the american people. Oh wait I am not Michael Moore. He says he isn't in the 1% yet his net worth is over 50 million dollars and is in the top echelon of American wealth. He is a hypocrite and liar.

  • @DaWeirdPeopleChannel Moore is a dirty stain, on America's underwear.

  • What's the name of the music at 1:09?? I could swear I heard it on the radio once.

  • Honestly, this had to be the truest AND funniest scene in the whole documentary. That Michael Moore is a pure fucking genius!!

  • Reagan was the best president of the United States. All of you are idiots parroting liberal propaganda. You have done no real research on Reagan, I bet you couldn't tell me 2 facts about his presidency. If you have any concerns, I can fill you in and tell you the real story.

  • Comment removed

  • @GracieJujitsu1 fill us in then.

  • @zachsteezy Reagan cut inflation from 13% to 4%, Reagan added 16 million new job, he doubled the total national assets of the country from 16 million to 33 million, he tripled the Dow, he doubled government revenues from 1981 to 1989, he cut taxes from 70% to 28% on the upper class to encourage investing, and he cut taxes on the lower class from 15% to 11% during the recession, which resulted in a median family income increase of $4000, he reduced the growth of domestic government spending

  • @zachsteezy Reagan increased GDP by 4% per year every year, and he brought down the Soviet Union and won the Cold War. Reagan gave the American people hope and pride, and he encouraged entrepreneurs who are responsible for almost all of the economic growth of the United States. He presided over the second largest peacetime expansion in US history and he was one hell of a president. Any more concerns?

  • @zachsteezy Also before you beef about the national debt increase I will address that. Almost all of it was due to the big increase in defense spending in which the US out competed the Soviet Union and brought them down. At the end of his presidency the deficit had significantly declined.

  • Capitalism is a wonderful thing! Unions are the most Communist evil organizations in history and must be crushed.

  • "We're going to turn the bull loose." no fuckin shit, it gored the american working class.

  • they paid that nigger wit crack for that ad

  • Reagan is the most over-rated President in American history. Those who cherish him are brainwashed by Limbaugh clones and Fox News.

Reagan is one of the reasons why America is so screwed up today.

Thank God we have Obama! He is trying to fix the stink that Reagan left us. Unfortunately, the teabaggers and Republicans are trying to stop him.

Hopefully he will be re-elected in 2012 and maybe he can do more to fix America. God, I hope so.

  • What planet are you from? Are you that delusional? Yes, the beginning of the end of America began in the 80's, but what the HELL did Bush or Clinton do? THEY ONLY MADE IT WORSE. Stop being a fucking IDIOT and understand that there are only a few presidential candidates who are not TOTALLY bought and paid for by Wall Street. Democrat Dennis Kucinich, Republican Ron Paul, Ralph Nader, and only a few others. OBAMA = BUSH = CLINTON. Sorry, there is no hope and no fucking change. WAKE UP

  • @RSCII I am a Ron Paul supporter and you're an embarrassment to the group. Go support Obama because that is the level of intelligence you are at. The beginning of the end occurred under FDR who created the modern day nanny state that is bankrupting the country.

Educate yourself on Ronald Reagan, you don't want people like me embarrassing you.

  • You don't embarass anyone, and certainly not me. Who are you exactly? A faceless profile and computer characters. NO ONE CARES about your opinion other than yourself. You are inconsequential and insignificant. You only think otherwise because you have an online forum to espouse what you 'think you know.' I am NOT an Obama supporter, and I hate to break it to you, but the country is too dumbed-down and as a result - Paul will not get the nomination. Go jerk off to the UFC men.

  • @RSCII Well I just got the facts straight on this video so I dispelled some ignorance. Your comment is full of worthless insults and you didn't even argue against me, which lets me know that I have proved my point. Reagan was the best president, and either Mitt Romney or Ron Paul is getting the nomination.

  • @StraightFashionMan obama isnt better than reagon, he does nothing against the fed

  • Yeah, "Speed it up"..., with your Alzheimer's..., arsehole

  • I can't watch this without laughing. "Millions of people were put out of work" . . . The unemployment rate dropped significantly under Reagan as did the inflation rate but that clearly doesn't make the average american better off

  • fack..

  • When we watched this movie, my hubby noticed how often Don Regan is sniffing -- as someone would, who does a lot of coke.

  • I come from a liberal family. No one in my family is capitalist though...no one. My father raised a whole book of business in the insurance business only to have it taken away by a massive corporation. For the last 3 years he has been struggling to rebuild this book and find business.

  • @ Americans It doesn't take a rocket scientist to put Reagan, an actor, acting as a our President. We all need to do our part and We do it as a majority."Ban ourselves",around the Country from something..BUT say your piece everywhere you can until we have a plan. We mustn't silence ourselves anymore. To get America back we must take a stand together. we are the people....Right? REVIEW & COMMENT everyday! We must come together in some way Review sites are everywhere online....

  • Fuck Thatcher and Reagan turning a world which was progressing (I will admit the late 70's and 80's were a bad recession, but every economic system has led us into one, no system is perfect) and put us right back into the 1920's in a socioeconomic sense. The rich get richer at the expense of the poor, and society is based on hate (although instead of blacks, and women, it is now muslims, and gays).

  • "Ganna have to speed it up" Shit

  • Sickening how stupid liberals are...they spend all our damn money!

  • @Marksnotebook The founding fathers also almost bankrupted the nation during the war of 1812 until they started to tax more. I grant that the individual millionaires don't have the money if we taxed their income, but what about taxing wall street transactions which are in the many trillions each year. Also allowing corporations to pay no taxes, the oil industry pays no federal tax aside from a consumer tax which we pay, while they make record breaking profits. Even Trump realizes that. Facts.

  • @Marksnotebook You mean on the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, or the 700B bailout? Oh wait...

  • Let me get this straight, Is Moore trying to say that Reagan killed the post war economic golden age?

  • Comment removed

  • REAGAN WAS A WONDERFUL MAN...HE SAVED US FROM CARTERS 20 PERCENT INTEREST RATES WHICH WERE KILLING AMERICA....RATES WENT TO 10 PERCENT WHEN REAGAN LEFT...UNEMPLOYMENT WAS ALMOST 9 PERCENT BEFORE REAGAN BUT AFTER REAGAN IT WAS 4.5 PERCENT..INFLATION WENT DOWN....SOVIET UNION CAME TUMBLING DOWN ALSO. FACTS ARE STUBBORN THINGS.

  • @Marksnotebook AND LOOK AT TODAY WITH OBAMA....THE BIGGEST DAMN DEBT WE HAVE EVER HAD...14 TRILLION....AND HE JUST KEEPS SPENDING AND SPENDING AND SPENDING.......WHEN WILL IT STOP? IN 2012!

  • @Marksnotebook because god created the world in 2008 and Obama has just been destroying it ever since..grow up.. we don't have money for social security or healthcare for citizens, yet we have trillions for war and military defense right? and everyone knows obama created all this 14 trillion dollars of debt. clinton was president, we were in surplus, and then theres a big blank between 2000-2008, and now obama has screwed us all. pathetic.

  • @elmolovescookies Heads in the sand as you apparently are one of those. Heads in the sand. NO, we're not going back to Clinton because if we do we must remember that it was the republicans who controlled both houses of congress and halted the big spending days of then. Now get your butt up to the present time which is the problem. This dumb idiot is a Kenyan and he's never ran a business, never governed a state, was only a community organizer and is also partial to communism.

  • @Marksnotebook Spending more money does not cure the problem. You cut back on spending and give people more money to keep. But senseless idiots cannot see the light of day. Is your checking account full along with your savings account or are you 60 years old and broke? Save for a rainy day and it works that way in government too. NOT spend spend spend as Obama only knows how to do with NO results....a pity for us folks..

  • @Marksnotebook Bush spent spent spent and no body bull dogged him. Bush increased the deficit from around five and a half trillion to twelve trillion and raised the debt ceiling seven times. You are right, spending alone does not solve problems, but cutting spending and government jobs will be very harmful for the job market in this recession. I would say keep spending unchanged and create more revenue since increasing or decreasing spending will be hazardous while taxing the rich won't be.

  • @LancePoint9 The point is you don't over spend..Bush is gone. So its on Obama's watch now and Obama has spent more money than any other 8 years of Reagan........or of Bush......or of Clinton.......or of Eisenhower....or ANY President since the beginning of our republic. Facts are stubborn things. In FEB 2009, Obama said unemployment would NOT go above 8 percent IF the Congress passed his stimulus...well its over 9 percent and for those OUT of work for 2 years now its over 17 percent!

  • @LancePoint9 BTW,,,there is not enough money from the rich to correct our problem of 14 trillion debt. There are only about 240,000 millionaires who gross 1 million per year or more. That translates into less than 1 percent of our population. So taxing the rich does not work. A new tax reform as the founders said and Excise tax in article one of the constitution which was a fair tax would be acceptable. The founders only believed in taxing imports and small excise taxes on items.

  • @Marksnotebook Congratulations for invoking the trifecta of CON-$servative stereotypes by being a completely misinformed, racist blowhard! It is ignorant loudmouths like you, parroting Fox News and Rush Limbaugh, that are destroying our global reputation. But I'm sure to you, that translates to as: "Reagan BAD! Me hate America! Me liberal communist Jesus-hater!"...

  • @Marksnotebook idiot history flows in patterns..you must acknowledge former presidents to judge a current one. is obama perfect? no..then again, look at what he came walking in with.. george bush and the republicans spent just as badly only it was on war and turning wall street into a casino by destroying regulations. Personally i dont care what he didn't do before, because he was a much better choice than McCain who wasn't going to do anything at all and continue bush policies further.

  • @elmolovescookies NO the folks will go by this president when they go to the polls next fall and NOT by past Presidents. You can try that all you want but you won't win. The 47 million on food stamps will mostly vote for Obama but it will take about 65 to 70 million to beat that Kenyan and we will beat him. People don't look at Bush or before and blame them. They blame the present occupant in the White House and that is Obama. You are the idiot. And Obama wants to spend more...a JOKE.

  • @Marksnotebook your argument is so biased and irrational because of your hatred for this man. if roosevelt never stopped the bleeding of the great depression, would you have simply blamed him his first months in office? the greatest collapse in financial history? even though it was hoover who should've taken equal blame? how much can a current president do walking in with european finanical debt causing a meltdown? tell me, what can a republican do about european problems?

  • @elmolovescookies OBAMA INHERITED: a AAA credit rating; $1.61 gas (as of 12/31/08); 5.4% unemployment; and an 8 trillion dollar debt (accumulated since 1776, that was called “devastating”). 2 and 1/2 years since OBAMA took office, we have a AA credit rating, nearly tripled gas prices, 9-10% unemployment (actual 22%) & the debt ceiling is $17 TRILLION. Some STILL say this is a good job, I'm not sure who is scarier, Obama or his supporters. The numbers don't lie!!

  • @Marksnotebook when bush and clinton wanted to raise the debt ceiling, republicans had no problem..as soon as obama took office, OH! STOP EVERYTHING! WE CAN'T RAISE IT NOW! which led to the AA rating since Tea PArty Republicans are a bunch of fuck ups to begin with. Gas was cheap because everything around it in turn of price was dropped from the economic meltdown, and whoever told you the unemployment on bush's legacy was 5.4% was really just out of touch. more like 10 percent..22% actually.

  • @Marksnotebook Just in case you haven't kept up with your reading so you don't know the truth, the only reason the debt is bigger under Obama is because he actually put Bush's wars on the books, so we have to be accountable for them instead of just keep borrowing money to keep them going. Idiot!

  • @Marksnotebook Bush started office with six trillion in debt and ended with twelve and almost a half trillion, raising the debt ceiling seven times. Obama has continued Bush's wars and created jobs through the stimulus, adding about two trillion and only raising the debt ceiling once. Obama may not be fiscal, but he alone did not get us to this point.

  • @LancePoint9 If you think this economy is in great shape and lots of jobs you can believe that but the majority of people know better as many are unemployed. Obama will lose next fall...I promise you that..

  • Specially I´m ashamed Harper got a majority government. We´ll be going down the drain with America very soon.

  • Hi, I´m a Canadian too and you do us a great favor in meddling and warning Canadians for the SHAME that conservative Stephen Harper is bringing to Canada, namely:

    - refusing to attend the intl. AIDS conference in Toronto

    - refusing to speak for Canada at climate change summit in Kopenhagen

    - slashing $ 5 billion dollars for middle class´s children care, discontinued from last government

    - supporting Israel against arabs, oil companies

    - allowing manufacturers to break during the 2008 crisis..

  • @maumedina292003 Thanks to Harper, Canada has remained relatively untouched by this recesion. Our corporate tax rate is 15 %. The reason we are better off than the americans is because we keep our spending under control and don't have a crazy tax code system and thousands of pages of red tape like they do.

  • @maumedina292003 OBAMA INHERITED: a AAA credit rating; $1.61 gas (as of 12/31/08); 5.4% unemployment; and an 8 trillion dollar debt (accumulated since 1776, that was called “devastating”).

  • @Marksnotebook Where were you paying $1.61 for a gallon of gas in 2008? Bizarro World? Venezuela?

For those of us in the reality of the United States in 2009 when the Bush Regime left office, we were paying $4 a gallon, the unemployment rate was 7.8% (up from 4.2% when Bush took office in 2001). The numbers don't lie.

  • @smylex99 There were cheaper gas prices at the end of the Bush term. The point is the prices are HIGH NOW and it is OBAMA NOW who runs the country as POTUS and HE is failing. Unemployment IS higher now than in 2008 or ever before since the great depression. So LIVE NOW...Bush IS GONE ASSHOLE.

  • @Marksnotebook Again, you're still wrong. Go do a search on the average price of gasoline in California when Bush left office. We were already past $1.61 on a gallon of gasoline and into well over $2 a gallon for regular unleaded. Also, the unemployment rate since Obama took office is still only 1.3% higher after 2.5 years than it was when he took office. Not a great accomplishment, but Bush left office with a 3.6% increase in unemployment and creating only 3 million jobs in 8 years.

  • MM is not a liar, but taxes and economy in USA is much more complex than this; USA can't keep controlled their way of life because american people waste more than they produce. All latinoamerica and Africa suffers for countries like this. The exposed trouble with finances in USA (as Michael Moore shows here) is older on that countries, but while nobody in 1st worl noticed of this situation, American people lived on faked happiness. Nowadays, American Dream is getting over, ¡Awake Reality please!

  • dear Michael Moore, since you don't pay taxes in Canada nor live here, can you stop meddling in our elections and our Gov't, k thx, much appreciated.

  • This is such a sad, brilliant film. Check out Michael's excellent (current) piece on Common dreams dot org -- says it all. Thank you for EVERYTHING you've done for this country, Michael! A longtime fan in southeast Georgia....

  • Ronald Reagan and Maggie Thatcher destroyed far more jobs than they ever created and their lackeys who followed (Bush, Major & Blair) carried on their evil works. It's long overdue for the myth of the 'self made millionaire' to be destroyed. The fact is that you can only become a millionaire by exploitiung some other poor bastard into poverty. Tax cuts for the rich and poverty wages are the only things that these scum understand. Banks and corporations make money by making everyone else poor.

  • Micheal Moore exaggerates his personal opinions to attempt to fool all those who bother to listen to his crap Banks and coorportations had no plan other than to make money Anything else he tries to assert is pure proporganda to futher interest in his future movies and or books Reagan first gave tax breaks to help the economy then raised taxes 11x Reagan brought us out of a dire and bleak time in our lifes and Moore should be applauding him for creating 21 million jobs and keeping people employed

  • Dang. Any MM clip really brings out the far right, Fox watching, knuckle-draggers.

I have to assume you guys are unpaid corporate shills. How does that feel? Parroting baseless, right-wing cant and not getting paid to do it?

  • Puppets and sycophants abound wherever Moore's films are shown. We even have a Top Commenter advocating brainwashing and indoctrination. I know he'd be in a hissy fit if Christians wanted The Passion of the Christ to be compulsory in science classes. They don't sue Moore, because what's the point of bringing publicity to a non-factor?

  • @LibertarianINT If he is a non factor why are you even writing anything. Moore will not be sued. i say this because he has been making films since 1978 and not one law suit.

  • @fred5399 A lot of people have done things for years and never been sued. It has nothing to do with him being right. It has to do with his movies only reaching those already inclined to believe him.

  • you know why people don't fight for their lives and kids future?Because people love their friggin chains and cages. Their are blind by their stupid iPods and don't give a shit about a better future as long as their have their bottle of coke and red bulls every morning. ''None are more hopelessly enslaved than those who falsely believe they are free.

    Johann Wolfgang von Goethe''

  • This is very interesting! The same crap happens in Romania too, as we speak. In 20 years, since the fall of the communist system, our fairly well educated middle class, practically vanished into thin air! Unions exist just for decorative purposes. In fact, everything that occurs in my country is just a mockery of the word ''democracy''!

  • Fortunately there's people like moore, spread this info, don't let your country in the hands of the Capitalism

  • I just can't see the point of all these books and documentaries showing the true nature of American politics, because America is just a country of dumb retards (not EVERY American, of course) who merely believe their tellies and think these truth seekers are just "Communists and Socialists".

They're just wasting their time nowadays. The only people who believe them are the smart ones in Europe, but it really makes no difference to America.

  • Check it out. At 1:14, the guy next to Reagan gives a sieg heil!

  • Isn't it true, though, that Michael Moore and his wife run a foundation that owns stock in Halliburton?

  • IS manages to come up with the usual twaddle about Hitler. He used the tag 'socialism' in order to con people into believing him, so anyone who is still deluded enough to compare him with real socialists is a victim of the nazi propaganda emanating from the Tea Party, the Republicans and the British tory party. Reagan was a fascist who funded the Mohajadeen in Afghanistan purely to spite the Soviet Union and we can see where his arrogance has taken the world.

  • President Reagan had Alzheimers when he started and was in his last stages

when his last days came to a end. He should have never been in office

A new law that Alzheimers, Domentia, Retardation disabilities should

keep people out of office, They don't let commercial pilots fly passed 60

so it should be the same for President and other High Government Jobs

with power. Also a age cap first turm age 40 to 62 last turm age 44 to

    67. Children are too young to work and drive at 15 so have age caps

  • Best use of O Fortuna...one that is quite apropos. Merrill Lynch and Reagan: forces of evil. The bull went lose all right...and the bull crap hit both the fan and us.

  • Something that's so sadly ironic about Reagan is that he used to actually BE a union president for the screen actors guild! Not to mention that his own father and brother were kept economically afloat during the Great Depression by programs started by FDR! To be kind, I'll just believe he had Alzheimer's the entire time and did not just decide to bite the hands that fed him for no other reason than because he could.

  • Time for a change, hard working Americans.

The rich are rich because we work hard.

Time to get our share back.

Get off your duffs and do something about it.

  • Grasp hold of "the message" and stop beating on the messenger...Sure, he's fat and slobbish in appearance, but the man "shots from the hip...He calls a spade a spade", and because of him being that way, he's earned my respect...But ,who am I right ? :)

  • It's rape...it truly is. While we are being "hoodwinked" they, those bias and selfish wealthy bastards,(excuse my frankness) "are dry banging us" Why are the voting majority so damn stupid? Can't we see that we are at war only to be distracted from the truths, and that wars are another form of "population control" as well as wars make money...

  • 0:37 If that's a fucken pocket radio you need a pretty big pocket! You can compare it to his term in office, how his total bullshit and propaganda deceived America into thinking that getting rid of the unions and middle class was the best thing for the country.

  • This is exactly the sort of message we need to be putting over here in the UK - Thatcher started the ball rolling and, to his eternal disgrace, the warmonger Tony B Liar jumped on the band wagon and got rich while betraying the ordinary British people. Cameron is now in the process of attempting to complete their dirty work but the rumblings of discontent can be heard here and across Europe. We need to form a transatlantic alliance to bring to heel these international financial racketeers.

  • read

  • @Bruce1949919 you are fat slob troll.

  • @Bruce1949919

Ah, attack the person because one cannot argue with their ideas. I guess being a fat slob means one cannot speak the truth? So, what was your point, anyway? Do you have one?

  • Mióta, JFK megölték, sejtjük kik, azóta USA, zuhanásba kezdett!!!

  • @JOCO1860

    Say what?

  • Certainly his stylistic bias toward defending the middle and lower classes could be called 'propaganda', but I wouldn't say he is re-writing history. He is just highlighting things the Republicans wrote OUT of history because they didn't want people to think about it. He is also responding to very expensive propaganda from the Republicans--who have Fox News and Karl Rove (a man who admitted that Goebbels was a personal hero).

  • As MM said 'who tells the President of the USA to "hurry up"'? Also, in cahoots with the Great Satantic Whore herself - Thatcher. No wonder Britain and the US have gone to the dogs.

  • i'm from DC: i refuse to call he airport "Reagan" i stubbornly call it "National" AP ---ONLY. and if my lips uttter R.E.A.G... rotely i stop in disgust. you sick ignorant un-American corporate-whore republicans. i stand for freedom and equality and you do not you sick rightwing effs. secede and go away!

  • Watching Moore's films should be compulsary in high school and college civics courses. Some of my right wing friends say his assertions aren't true. Every second of his films is footnoted on his website. Also, if you lie in film, you can be sued for libel or slander. In his film, Moore has called out the most powerful people on the planet, who certainly have the means to sue him. But they can't sue him, because he doesn't lie.

  • @indigowithstars I agree with you, but the trouble is that we don't teach civics anymore.

  • @indigowithstars with the left wing liberals in education it probably will be one day. More propaganda in the classroom great! If that happens, why can't FREEDOM TO FASCISM by the late Aaron Russo be shown? right, exactly, only left wing movies.

  • @quincee33 With textbooks, there already IS propaganda in the classroom. You think a corporation would publish something they don't want exposed? Open your eyes.

  • @Inagebe My eyes are open. i'm just not a Socialist, that's all.

  • If you can't beat 'em, join 'em. All you had to do was invest in stocks, and you'd probably be better off. You don't have to be super rich to buy a few shares.

  • I'm sure you've heard this a million times before Michael...but the Right HATES you because you're RIGHT!!

    Thank you!

  • Unfortunately the propaganda from the Right Wing continues to this day, the number of US citizens who actually vote continue to believe the hype.

When the Republicans took control of the Congress they promised jobs, what was the first thing they went after, yes "abortion" of course and more tax cuts for the mega wealthy, pandering to dictators on the Religious Right.

It works at every election God, Guns & Abortion Michael Moore is correct get off the couch don't let Wall St screw you again.

  • Working people sat back and let this all happen, bamboozled by a truckload of red herrings: fear of gays, fear of socialism, fear of nonwhites, and on and on. But we sure love our billionaires don't we? And anyone who made a peep got accused of fomenting 'class warfare', supreme irony. Now we got the plumbers attacking the teachers. Mission accomplished.

  • The worst of all is that not only the US (cause America is a whole continent) is now suffering these series of crisis, but that the rest of the world is paying such decisions.

  • My father was a weighmaster for a meat company in Chicago for 40 years & retired in 85. My mother had 3 children & never had to work & we lived middle class, never in need of anything & ate steak at least 3 times a week, had great insurance too. I myself was in the hospital 2 weeks at 15 and all my parent's had to pay was a $2.50 phone bill. My mom is 83 now & I told her she had it good compared to todays life! Sad how our politicians screwed us and our children!

  • "To serve them..." Reminds me of the Twilight Zone episode "To Serve Man." Remember that one? It fits here.

  • Why does the woman rub her right cheek after RR slaps her on the left cheek?

  • Reagan bitchslapped that chick lol

  • @paulod27 I know it seems weird to see a rich man argue IN FAVOR of economic justice, but it does actually happen! And Michael Moore is one who does. So being wealthy actually does NOT mean you have to be a selfish jerk. If what Moore suggests actually comes to pass... HIS taxes will increase, and not the taxes of the vast majority of the nearly-broke right-wing puppets being exploited by their wealthy masters. Just sayin'. :)

  • @KindaLikeWater No, your right in what your saying! I am actually a fan of Michael Moore and what he stands for. I have seen most of his films and I am a member of his website even though i'm british, but he does make a hell of a lot of money from the very capitalist system that he exploits. It's a very odd situation for him isn't it? When he was just starting out and wasn't very rich himself it seemed more plausible for him to be against the system, but now it just seems wierd!

  • @paulod27 I can only imagine he provides good salaries and healthcare for his employees and shares his gains with them, like good bosses used to do.

  • @total90soccer1 Moore DOES provide good pay & bennies for his employees. Fully paid health & dental insurance with NO premiums or co-pays, in fact.

  • @paulod27 It's one thing to make a lot of money and share it, another thing to make alot and keep it all! He exposes his documentaries/movies for free at certain points (like the clip above). He's not getting any royalties for showing parts of his movies on Youtube..

  • @paulod27 The question I have to that is, Is Moore living a noticeably lavish lifestyle, or is he comfortable, and sharing his wealth with worthy causes, that he no doubt has connections to?

  • I love how Moore's graphs (which are quite manipulative) show Clinton doing much worse than Reagan!

  • @ROlshansky1

And you fail to realize that it was already too late by then, the corporations bought and paid for the government in the early 80's and it was just a screw job for us which was ONLY going to get worse, and if you thought there was a glimmer of hope, well the Citizen United case closed that opportunity! Corporations should never have been able to infiltrate our government....now all of us suffer.....including YOU.

  • "Speed it up"! Its genius really, who better to play a role and speak for you in front of an audience than an actor?

  • Comment removed

  • The actress Reagan slapped held the wrong cheek

  • To be fair he says "your gonna have to speed it up" - I think it was taken out f context - The old man could of just meant it in a context of their schedule for that speech

  • Anyone who bashes capitalism like Michael Moore but yet enjoys all the benifits of what a capitalist system provide is a complete fucking hypocrit.

  • @InternetSavage you could get the same benefits in a communist or slave society....would you bash those? the real issue is that capitalism has been sold to us with a kind face and we are conditioned from birth to believe that our freedoms and rights are tied into this system which allows half the world to live in poverty and over 1 billion to live in hunger....in the USA alone 1% of the population controls more wealth than the bottom 90% combined....your benefits keep us "sedated"

  • @jmintube Capitalism has been very kind to me. You know why? Because I've made the decision to work hard for a living and have been rewarded for it. If capitalism is too difficult for you why don't you move to Europe?

  • @InternetSavage This can't be analyzed from what happened to you particularly, but to the majorities (which politicians are supposed to work for)..... Move to Europe? well that's a good idea, because they have a great life and at the same time they have laws that regulate and prevent this kind of things happen..... in US you have nor legal nor moral limits and that’s allowed big corporations to do ANYTHING they want with you.... even more, they are smart enough to make you feel happy with it

  • @vlookup2 A great life in Europe? LOL If the standard of living is so much better in the orwellian prison camp called Europe then please move there and leave the rest of us freedom loving capitalists alone.

  • @InternetSavage Prison camp??? LOL as I can see you have never been there my ignorant friend!!!.... the world is more than Fox News!! … besides, this have NOTHING to do with freedom.... they have much more freedom than you in US, this is the typical myth you have always swallowed…. The biggest source of happiness is ignorance so be happy!!

  • @vlookup2 A bootlicker brainwashed by a half century of multicultural bullshit, you already have a ring in your nose if you think Europe is free.
