Could be a multitude of things. I would re-install windows first, but if you don't want to do that, at least: Check drivers, Restore to different points of use, Call HP?
NBR is notebookreview, go there and click discussion at the top. It will bring you to a forum then scroll down and click on hp then the envy sub forum.
i just spend a lot of day setting up my computer and it suck if i have to install everything again. do you have any idea of what software can cause this?

That's a software issue, not a hardware issue. I bet your Envy 14 is fine and I recommend reinstalling Windows 7. Post this on NBR....
