most ppl dont know this but hubert sumlin wasnt the guitarist on the original smokestack which is being played now but was a fella by the name oh Willie Johnson,he had more of a rugged thumping sound to his picking thats how the older cats played a guitar that were of Wolfs age group ,more emmotion,iam not at all takeing away from Hubert because he definitely one of the greatest no doubt but the talent was plentiful amongst the oldtimers,just check out Wolfs playn on ''Meet Me in the Bottoms''

My all time favorite Wolf track. This is a pretty crappy job of lip-synching, but the guy looks pretty good as the Wolf. He really needed to practice some more in the mirror to synch to the recording. The dancing and gestures were spot on, but he should have pointed his finger more. The lips were WAY off. You'd think he'd learn the damn words.

I don`t know about this clip due to the audio/video not matching up like a Japanese Godzilla movie - but Eammon Walker(of HBO`s OZ series fame) actually sings this song in the movie. He does an excellent job & I actually like his vocals better than the original singer Howlin` Wolf. Just my opinion folks. Eammon is an fantastic actor who deserves more roles & credits. Now that I`ve viewed/listened to his amazing vocal ability, I realize he could have been just as successful or more as a singer.

I found the film well made, especially considering not many people listen to these artists anymore.

But I wish they hadn't made Howlin' Wolf into this asshole in the film. Eamonn Walker did a phenomenal job (he should make a biographical film on the guy) but the real Howlin' Wolf didn't fool around with girls, but was a grounded man who didn't let the usual temptations get him. He also made groundbreaking contracts that ensured he and his band would make money (which they did address at least)
