how can I send Audio files like songs ( not the Audio note one ) from my whatsapp ( i am using iphone 4)?

@armendra04 I don't think Apple allow the sending of any audio files via iPhone or iPad to any one as a means to protect the intellectual property of the music owners.

However, there's other means of sharing music...but I'm just not the right person to ask :D

@rayzanmtc yes there is, bottom left corner there's an up arrow. Pressing that shows you various options like "Take Photo or Video", "Choose Existing", "Audio Note", "Share Contact", "Share Location".

@simontay I recommend Textfree With Voice to msg others. its free and works to any phone and the other person doesnt have to have it at all..

I have an important question. Can you chat (message) someone with Whatsapp if they don't have it themselves? I want to get it so I don't have to pay for at&t text plan.

@barriobrathwaite ping chat sometimes have delays but uses username instead which is good, whatsapp uses phone numbers as identity which makes it personal IM instead

@barriobrathwaite I don't know about BBM anyone can give a hint how BBM works? what they use as identity? is it mobile number or username or email?

@simontay78 BBM works with Pin and not number so I'm guessing that Pingchat is more similar!

Thanks, but it didn´t work that way.

I was told, the only way is that the user of the BB has to download WhatsApp which is avaible for both, (BB and IPhone) so instead of using a pin code, they¨ll be using only the phone number.

Have to try that way.

@Chamana0 You add contacts in your iPhone main address book, rem to add country codes at the front e.g. for Singapore it's +65

After that...go to Whatsapp and seek your friend's "Contacts" button (center button) then click "Add to favorites" or "invite to WhatsApp"

@andygattas you add your friends mobile number with country code into your iPhone address book. Then go to Whatsapp to find them in Favorites -> click on the + sign

@simontay78 that totally sucks people don't advertise their mobile number like they advertise their ping code, is there really no other way?

@Proleetness WhatsApp main key feature is to connect close friends automatically because you have their mobile number, this app cannot be use for social networking it's more like SMS instead of Instant Messaging.

Try other app like Ping!Chat or Fring or other IM instead :D
