the story of the witch and the tree is made up and not that old i know this as i am from streator IL and the so called witch tree was made up by me and my brother . but there is some crazy stuff going on out in that place . i had nice still frames that got stolen from me full bodied ap.

Check out Greenwood on a full moon. My friends I did this and it was the most fucked up experience ever. We saw a guy standing at the Civil War Memorial. When we left, we walked through Hells Hallow and were being followed by some figure that was a shadow. When I shined the flashlight, all you saw was a shadow figure and the light lit up everywhere but that one spot. The only thing we could make out was feet.
you should have taken a camera with you. A friend of mine took some pics while sitting in one of the devils chairs and he captured some messed up images!!

been to; chesterville witches grave, ashmore estates, lost 40s-(old observatory, heartbeat well, crybaby bridge, sunken grounds, satans church) spent the night in a tent on an old indian burial gound in douglas county, pemberton hall...nothing but a few mistaken scares, nothing that i think is creditable as supernatural....yet
yeah i live in streator illinois and we have a haunted cemetery it's called moon creek cemetery known for the hatchet lady she is real my friend went there and he saw green smoke comming from one of the graves also he saw a head print on his sisters windsheild now tell me that aint freaky

I live near a lot of this. I do things like this myself just to see what is out there. All I have ever caught are orbs. I'm impressed you guys got into some of those places. Troy Taylor, ghosthunter from Alton, married a woman who used to room in P Hall. He met her on an investigation I think. At least you tried. Everyone who knocked it should try it themselves. Not as easy as it looks.

We went there last summer in like July or August on our way to Toronto. We had no encounters with police, but there was another person down there taking pictures when we were. He was riding a bike and we had parked quite a ways away....if there are any vehicles close you will get arrested im sure....thanks for the comment!

you should go on blood point road sometime in cherry valley il. its one of the most haunted roads in the U.S.
