  • On April 20th, 1963 "If You Can't Rock Me" entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 for one week and peaked at No. 100. The B/side of this record, titled "Old Enough To Love", did a little bit better on the charts, it reached No. 94!!!

  • Sorry to disappoint you but the fine picking is by the late Joe Maphis. James Burton [and Ricky] played rhythm guitar on this track and the others that are on the first LP entitled "Ricky". James' first stint as lead guitarist was on Ricky's second single "Believe what you say". And the rest is history.
