  • Hahaha, I just got back from Guangzhou today. The taxi drivers were awesome. Doin' 140kph into the city no seatbelts and cutting off massive semi trailers and busses. The guy even did a U turn in the middle of the freeway. Got from the airport to Shamian Island in the middle of the city about 40km's in about 30 minutes cost RMB170 ($15.60) Heart pumping adrenalin filled fun. Travelled to and from Pazou complex for five days for work. 30 minute taxi ride each way.

  • your hotel must have been in the middle of nowhere. No taxi ride in Guangzhou should cost more than 100RMB.
