I have to agree with you, to leave a job (or not take a job) because your "social media" would be impacted is quite stupid (after all, you're supposed to be WORKING, not f*&$ing around). That said, I do know people that have quit/not taken jobs because they couldn't use FB or Twitter at work. People need to get their priorities in order, that is what is ruining our society.
What would you even be able to write on facebook while you're at work?

"Yep.... Still working..."
"Oh, you're having a party? Sorry, I can't come because I'm being a slack employee and updating my status rather than actually doing what I'm paid to be doing. Oh, I forgot my boss can see this.... GIVE ME A PAY RISE!"
@Kyperify I assume that's WHY they block the social networks in the first place. But logic doesn't run first and foremost in the human brain it seems...
@epictheatric I agree. And situations other than this have occurred that I have witnessed and makes me simply shake my head and wonder how the human race has "evolved" so much. >.<
