Ya they should have given her a ten. But that wasn't REALLY her last routine. Like she performed at the 2012 figure skating and gymnastics spectacular. Technically though yeah, that was her last routine and it was great!

what happends is, if you compete nationally you CAN compete NCAA, as long as you didnt have any sponsorships in elite usag. gymnasts like shawn johnson, nastia liukin and chellsie memmel have sponsers and can not compete NCAA. but gymnasts like shayla worley and Alicia Sacramone CAN compete NCAA (but once alicia got sponsored within the last year she can not compete NCAA anymore)

it really ticks me off that they just didnt give her a 10. i know ppl would say that it was becuase it wasnt good enuff. but srsly. i think sometimes the judges dont give tens becuz they dont want to. and also 9.9875? basically a 10

College gymnastics code is way different than Olympic. She only has to have two skills in a back flight series and she did three. There is also a lot more and the difficulty is ridiculous in Olympic now. If you knew anything about the controversy it's because they are sucking the artistry out of Women's Artistic Gymnastics and making it more and more like men's.

That wasn't 9.98 or whatever worthy. What happened to the difficulty in beam routines over the years, ever since the 90's gymnastic difficulty has been dying fast. Still love the sport though and Courtney Kupets REPRESENTS!!

She tore her right Achilles' in March 2008. Which had to suck after she tore the left one in 2003 and her sister's NCAA career ended with a torn Achilles'

she was doing a ton of difficulty around that time, especially on BB. It might have been too much as she's kind of injury prone. This year they decided to take it easy since it was her last year and stuff.
