I have a 360 also and when i go switch between systems my tv display tells me what resolution the system is outputing in and the ps3 is 1080p while 360 is 720p. Also when i put in a game thats 720p or 1080p is shows me. So the ps3 is a native 1080p system

But PS3 is powerful, maybe littlebit more than XBOX360 but just like last gen, PS2 kick the crap out of the more poweful XBOX. This generation XBOX360 is champion. This gen its about shooters, xbox controler is better for it too. This is difficult simply because the PS3 is so radically different, and has a lesser online service, and (back to the same thing) Cell is harder to develop for.

actually the xbox 360 doesn't use hd dvd. there was an hd dvd adapter used to play hd dvd movies but that got discontinued after hd dvd went the way of the dinosaur. the xbox 360 uses standard dual-layer dvd.

so i guess you mean xbox 360 could do a better job for mgs 4 jaja..compare the ps2 first games and the last ones specially god of war 2 ..the system has the power the people who makes the games will get better trougth the years..looks how killzone 2 will coming.

What is your point? Sure, graphics will get better on the Ps3, but 360 graphics will also continue to develop. The graphical differences between 360 and PS3 aren't very big either
