what frequency do you have the animations set to? I'd just like to know so that my girls dance as close to the beat as they can. ^_^

For these type of movie-style animations, I would usually set the system activity monitored to "Sound output (all frequencies), and monitor sensitivity to "High".

There are various other ways you can fine-tune the responsiveness of the animation. Try playing around with the settings of System Animator and Spectrum Analyser, and see what the best is for your own taste.
