  • First off, let me just thank you guys at LAfishguys for making these awesome videos for us. I think it is really admirable of you to go through all the hassle of editing and uploading the material just to make us nerds happy :)

Secondly, how would you recommend to dispose a dying fish? What's your normal routine when a fish is suffering and most likely to die?

  • hey M, place the fish in a bag of water from the tank and place the bag in the freezer. he will simply go to sleep as the water freezes.

  • can i add a black ocellarise clown witha regular alredy in there?

  • hey N, other than some adjustemt on the established clowns part you should be able to add same species.

  • i here lets see what happen to her

  • Jim I would like to give you some advice on a poll to use for tanks like that. Try a painters poll they basically extend twice there length.

  • hey P, thanks. the real trick is is has to fit into the canopy, turn into the tank, and then I have to be able to reach the twisty thing to loosen and extend it.

  • I know how it is to lose a fish... I have a freshwater tank and losing those fish sucks... I couldn't imagine losing a beautiful large Angel

  • when did you add the chromis because i am getting a 125 g fish only tank it arrives tomorow... i want to add chromis to start the tank when do i add them in

  • hey T, as much as I like Chromis I would re-consider using them. they have a red sore issue. its a parasite and then a bacterial infection. I just bought 36 of them for the Cylinder tank and must have lost half of them. I bought another 24 and so far they are doing OK.

  • aw how unfortunate :(

    it was a beautiful fish

  • I'm always mystifyed by people who want to jam aquariums full of fish. PLEASE ease off the amount of fish. Give them some room to live, please.

  • hey C, thanks for your comments but the tank, its population and my service business are doing just fine.

  • Too many fish, Jim.

  • in the case of a dead fish jim do you still get payed for him or do you foot the bill?

  • hey I, unlike most shops or other service companies I garantee my fish to my service customers for two weeks.

  • Hey Jim! Fist off your videos are awesome, I have learned so much from them. So I have a question about what order to add my fish into my newly cycled tank. I know I want clowns, royal grammas, Flame Hawkfish, and a heniochus butterfly. What order would you recommend adding them to the tank in?

  • hey S, you have already answered your own question... clowns, royal grammas, Flame Hawkfish, and a heniochus butterfly

  • Thanks! Theoretically could the clowns and royal gramma go in at the same time?

  • hey S, dont be in a hurry! after the Damsels cycle the tank the Clowns will be the first fish in. allow the Bio-Filter to adapt before you start slamming the tank full of fish.

  • Not in a hurry, was just going to take out some of the damsels. I will just add them one species at a time if you think that is best.

  • was it died it was moving its gills

also do u have any types of sharks like a bamboo shark

  • hey T, she died shortly afterwards, and no i do not have any shark tanks at this time.

  • Any idea why it died? Disease or other fish picked on it?

  • hey M, maybe you missed the comment in the video about the Lymphosistus. its been my experience that Caribbean fish have greater issues than Pacific fishes.

  • hey Jim, isn't the queen angel suppose to be the hardiest?

  • hey N, my experience has been that Caribbean fish have greater issues than Pacific fish, in particular Lymphosistus.

  • you need to go back to that house and take another video of that tank; cause it just soo damn beautiful! :P

  • what is the smallest tank size for a few Black & White Heniochus u would recommend.

  • hey Y, i was always taught NOT to try anything smaller than 55/60 gallons. smaller leads to a lack of stability.

  • Do u think a 40 gallon would be fine for them?

  • what is the smallest tank that u would recommend for a couple of ocellaris clown fish, 2 three striped damsels, 2 fiji devil damsel and 2-3 other fish. Plz right back

  • hey Y, i was always taught NOT to try anything smaller than 55/60 gallons. smaller leads to a lack of stability.

  • how do clean somthing thst big

  • hey J, aside from what you saw in the video, and other videos being re-done, it involves a brush with a long handle, a home-made siphon vacuum and a pair of aquarium cleaning magnets.
