I Gave It "Two Thumbs Up!" Since I'm Old Enough to Play Metal Gear Solid. But I Do Not Have It in my original PlayStation Collection. Neither did any of these PS1 Games including Bust A Groove, Crush Course, Magical Mystery Mall, Winners Circle, Tomba, Lilo & Stitch, Gran Turismo, Tarzan, Sabrina: A Twitch in Time, Bratz, Spongebob Squarepants and Scooby-Doo.

Incredible game, The graphic capibilities of the time made it better, because in the later ones they put in the gay looking cinimatics that make it look like a cheesy action movie. In this one the story was great and the cutscenes were awesome. Perfect game.

Halo and MGS are different games, but MGS is the only real stealth game out there and was the first.........Splinter Cell games are actually pretty good games overall. But MGS games have an off the charts amazingly well thought-thru story with original gameplay. Halo is just another shooter, I mean Gears of War has already made people forget Halo lol!

@rocbolt that is NOT the main theme for MGS. it is inspired by the theme from the original metal gear for the NES, but nowhere in MGS does a track sound anything like this. download the OST and check for yourself, this theme was remade afer the game came out.
