i went a year in a half self taught i just started lessons at the beginning of the semester. my only advice is go to the library and get a book for beginners just to get the form down so you don't develop any bad habits that will make it more difficult once you do get lessons.

You make it somewhat easy to learn, but 1)

When you speed it up in the last part, you don't play the exact same as in the beginning where you explain, and play slowly.. Very confusing :S

And 2)

A little explanation of how to use the chords would be nice (When you play yourself, you play single notes in the chords several times)

I took lessons for a little less than two years when I was 8-ish. I played around with the piano a bit growing up, but I never continued taking lessons. I'm almost 18 now, and I'm nowhere near as good as muso90, but all it takes is practice. If you can read music, it helps a lot. Or just start taking lessons. It'll take some time, but it'll be worth it. =)

I think it's never too old to start learning.. especially at 20 years.. you're still young! I pretty much taught myself piano , starting when I was about 14..

Unfortunately at the beginning it may seem slow trying to figure everything out but once you know it.. all the practice is definately worth it..because playing piano is soo much fun :D
