Yellow labs are said to be more gentle, chocolate labs are said to be more tolerent of pain, therefore more prone to hurt themselves. We have a 10 week old yellow lab and she is good with the kids, she roles over and loves to have a belly tickled. whatever lab you get you'll fall in love instantly.
