dude it is possible by the second check point to have a time of 1:10. i won't tell u how but if u want to get a better time try and remove as many homing attacks as u can, and btw the ramp just before the second check point can be jumped past and into the rings. best of luck, u may beat my time of 1:53

couldn't you get a faster time by getting a boost in the beginning. You know how if you press the boost button at the right time, then you will get a segment of the boost bar and start out in ball form.

And to add one more, it is a bit faster to jump over the ramp and boost in 1:43, but I understand why you didn't since unfortunately you didn't have a boost there.

Also, a little tip if anybody is interested. On 1:14 where the first swinging pole is, there is a certain time you can jump where it will launch you high up in the air. When up in the air, you can boost past the 2nd pole and shave off 1 or 2 seconds.

Pretty nice run. I was a tester for this game and this was the stage I have probably played this specific stage close to a thousand times. I'm curious to see if anybody has gotten under 1:57 since that was my best for this stage. I even got 2:07 on this stage while before playing both the Wii-Remote and Nunchuk on one hand. Yep... I was that bored.

I like the PS2 Boost than the Wii personally it feels faster for me at least and the Spin Dash look but i like All of the versions (PS3 , XBOX360 , WII) , i have both wii and ps2 versions and i am getting the PS3 For different experience thought i will miss the spin dash in the wii/ps2 ones but this is just my opinion :)

wii has 771 MHZ of power and the ps2 has 200 MHZ of power.

their are no difference between the 2 versions except the wii version used just used a different sonic model and a little better high lights but both used pre-rendered graphics (Such as backgrounds and maybe grounds) to not to take much powers of both consoles that is why they looks almost the same but why didn't the developers use the rest of the 771 MHZ of the wii's power is unknown.

Yes, I got the ps3 at launch, so I have the 60 GB version. This version plays ps1 and ps2 disks. The newer versions don't have backwards compatibility if I recall correctly.

I think there's a top speed, and when you boost during this time you'll do a spindash to get to your maximum.
