  • i don't remember seeing this deleted scene when i watched the dvd.

  • @batmanvspredator it wasn't on dvd as a deleted scene, but when I ripped it in my computer, my editor program recognised it. Cause that, I uploaded this scene apart from the other deleted scenes, which were in ''Deleted Scenes'' section. I think that Fox or someone put this scene together with another called ''X-Jet lands in D.C.'' in the wrong place, so you and no one could see these things in DVD

  • I just LOVE this scene, too bad they deleted it, most of the time people do not appreciate moments of culture, they just like rays, explotions, "pows" and "kabooms", but reject anything related to a little bit of mind and brains... So sad.

  • Henry V?

  • FRASIER

  • Look at Bobby's face after Hank starts reciting Skakesheare

  • What I find hilarious about the Beast in First Class and Beast in the X-Men trilogy is that in the trilogy, he's a senator and clearly a well-read liberal arts major. But in First Class, he's a very awkward and geeky scientist. Both versions were intelligent, but those things are not related AT ALL. I just found that hilarious.

  • @TheZacula Also, I take First Class as the canon version because it's just a better movie.

  • @TheZacula you must keep in mind that this is the mature Beast. Maybe he took up liberal arts later in life.

  • best left on the cutting room floor....

  • why was this going through my head during my math final??

  • @theworldwillknowme cause math finals are deadly

  • I was going to tell Wolverine no, but then I too- heard Dr Mc Coy make a speech

  • it make sense that Dr MacCoy - educated man - would recite something like this, and it feets in "X-men", they really are band of brothers, and they going to fight impossible battle, but this performance.. it was poor, undiluted cheese

  • The only time I've ever seen this speech work is in Henry V where it came from. And Buffy when Spike and Giles instead said "We band of buggered."

  • Everyone watching this, close your eyes... and think of Sideshow Bob.

  • Ah typical Fraiser Crane..

  • i love their faces...

  • LMAO, SO so so glad they deleted this scene. Shakespeare ruined it and they ruined Shakespeare. How did they do that scene with straight faces.

  • @dammee The only way this scene could have work, would be if they didn't play it straight, and the young ones are like "err... I have no idea what you're talking about, I only know how to text message, and the only Shakespeare I know is adapted for TV"

  • Wow they could have actually made X3 worse. Impressive.

  • LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • niiice!

  • PLEASE type in GREEN LANTERN THE ORIGINAL SCREENPLAY it is the true story of how GEORGE LUCAS sent off duty CIA agents to threaten my Mother with guns Please check it out thanks....I think Kelsey should wear his beast makeup on his new show Boss

  • Okay, I love it when actors ham it up, but... that seemed to be biting off more scenery than the movie could chew.

  • lol, crispin

  • just when I thought this movie couldn't suck any harder...

  • check out my beast bishop and shard marvel comics drawing vid on my page

  • Colossus is standing there like "OK lats kick some ass"

  • The way they did Kelsey's hair is how they should have Logan's. Logan has a mane, but the way about doing his hair is simply unlike this and more a weird biker hairdo. Here, they just leave the spike as something going on with the top of his hair, being rounded at the ends. The burns are smaller than the top of the hair too, rather equal, making out to be a 30's-50's werewolf film. Otherwise, it would be fine stopping with Beast's look, as his hair was simlar too.

  • Kelsey Grammer = BOSS

  • Can someone upload the scene without the speech?.......no offence ^^

  • lol i love the look bobby gives when beast starts going on.

  • where exactly was this found

  • feels forced. the whole movie sucked, so its not surprising.

  • U guys are not outnumbered u guys have Iceman and he's an omega mutant :D!!

  • Gah! Sideshow Bob!

  • Lol I love Beast.

    *weeps* That was beautiful...

  • Kelsey Grammer as 'The Beast' folks! The best thing about X-Men 3. Hated everything else about the film. Its what happens when another director takes the helm

  • sorry to say, but i´m glad this didn´t make it into the final cut. as good as the idea is - Beast showing his love for literature - i think Kelsey Grammer is over-acting here, he´s too much into the Beast character. maybe if he had stayed calmer & cooler, it would have been better.

regardless of this, i don´t think the Shakespeare recitation adds anything to the plot. Logan´s speech is enough to get them all motivated: serious yet calm & cool. and short, cause they don´t have much time :)

  • I love how it looks like Beast is wearing the same uniform that he wore in First Class (the 1st uniforms that were yellow and blue).

  • wait Juno was in this?

  • @MrTalktothebear that she was kitty pride aka shadow cat

  • lol , bobbys face , is like wtf at 1:03

  • ...Frasier?

  • I'm motivated to go kick some mutant ass now!

  • "That's GREAT! THAT'S GREAT!! YEEEAAH!!"~Curly Bill (in reaction to the same line of Shakespeare), Tombstone.

  • 'x-men' sounds kinda like they are all transvestites, i'm just sayin.

  • after this Beast turned round and stepped on a garden rake.

  • This is how I knew Beast was Frasier! hehe

  • God, Logan was getting them motivated and then Beast just ruined the moment...

  • No, I'm glad they deleted this scene. It completely killed the moment. It's all serious and suddenly he starts rambling on like an idiot.

  • director=MORON

  • Okay, I love Shakespeare and poems and that sort of stuff but I'm really glad they deleted that scene. This movie wasn't great to begin with and this scene would have just made It worse.

  • @96somethingsomething it would make beast sound like frasier to be honest

  • A minor poem for a minor obstacle

  • The rest of the cast have this funny look on the faces... as if to say: What the F*&K are you talking about?

  • Kelsey grammar as beast was great, i think he was a perfect choice to play the character but i wish he was in a better film. his performace was great its just that the film was crap.

  • Crap movie. You have Juggernaut and Colossus in the same movie, in opposing teams...great chance for an amazing earth-shaking slug fest. But no, Colossus hardly has a scene and Juggernaut knocks himself out running into a wall. Im not a big fan of Cyclops but did they have to kill him in the first 5 minutes? The whole film felt clumsy.

  • @kev3d Totally agree

  • I see beast as a big flluffy teddy bear.... lol

  • best line of dialouge in x3

  • If they ever make a CGI movie of pinky and the brain .... they should have frasier as the brain .... come to think of it , they don't even need CGI with a head like his ...

  • well that was cheesey as fuck.

  • LOL

  • nobody chews the scenery like Frasier's Beast!

  • He's like a blue, furry Picard

  • It would've been nice to have that line as a voiceover as all the mutants were getting killed off on alcatraz

  • they all had dumb looks on their faces when beast was reciting shakespeare

  • I can see why it was removed.... but its an appropriate line! ahaha

  • Beast is crazy...as a loon!

  • To really appreciate this speech, you should hear it in the original Klingon.

  • @12125723222 Damn right!!

  • "Okay, Beast. Everything cool that Wolverine said, you wrecked it"

  • He reminded me of a Klingon Warrior here more then Hank McCoy.

  • Hugh almost looks like he was about to burst out laughing

  • after beast recites..logan and ice man are just like..WTF?

  • um what play was being quoted?

  • @TwilightChica2010 Henry V

  • I'm glad they cut this. EXCELLENT lines to recite, but the delivery in this scene was just fucked up beyond recognition. It just didn't fit for some reason.

  • this is the worst ever

  • Ya he's on DRUGS!!!!

  • i like the music here

  • haha Best being the usual geek :P

  • 0:43 'For he who shits his blood!'

    Anyone else hear that?

  • @oliverrr1989 he said sheds

  • No matter how hard I try, I can't see anything else but Frasier in a blue monkey suit.

  • Is this Kelsey Grammars Youtube channel? Did you edit yourself in using after effects or something, grammar? lol

  • I heard that Beast likes Shakespeare etc. in the comics, but as just a fan of the movies, I'm glad this scene wasn't involved.

  • Way to ruin the moment beast

  • 1:03 hes thinking WTF ????

  • Lol Iceman's like "you crazy?"

  • we band of buggered

  • love it

  • translation: Those pussies hiding in their beds peeing themselves gonna be sorry they missed out on all this heroic shit.

  • damn you brett ratner...DAMN YOU TO HELL!!

  • If I were iceberg, I would probably said this: I'm out! XD

  • Beast talk shakespeare at metal man

  • Now that makes me want to read some Sheakspeare

  • thank god I haven't seen this on the big screen

  • Ooh Kelsey Grammer is so awesome!:) @itsCAKEfan Yep he does seem like just a big blue version of Frasier!:)

  • Omg this is the best deleted scene ever. xD haha omg and the look on Icemans face halfway through the speech makes it so hilarious. He's looking around like "umm are you guys catching this? Wut?" --> 00:44

  • watching this video....just made me realize...Kelsey grammer was playing as the beast....only because of that shakespear speech it reminded me of Fraiser...LOL

  • X3 wasnt that bad actuarlly , it had 3 members of the original team , beast ,ice-man and angel , angel needed more screen time , cyclops nobody knows what happend to him did he died , ore is he still alive they said he whas dead but he isnt i think, but there is comming a'n x-men 4 and x-men 5 and a'n x-men first class 2 and 3 so we will see whats going to happen.

  • I guess this scene was deleted because the average IQ of people who watch summer movies would not understand nor appreciate Shakespeare.

  • @knightryder600 too true, and too sad. I think it's great.

  • @knightryder600 who?

  • @knightryder600 I'm guessing it was deleted since it was a misquote of that speech.

  • @knightryder600

    It wasn't a summer movie

  • Somehow I expected the Shylock-monologue: If you prick us don't we not bleed ...

  • Oooookay????

^^Pretty much sums up everyone's reaction.

  • They should have kept this scene in the final cut. This is Hank McCoy in a nutshell. Hopelessly nerdy, and yet lovable.

  • Kelsey Grammer and his Shakespeare.

  • He sounds like a big blue drunken irishman xD

  • @chelseagirl712

I'm Irish But I Have 2 Admit He Does

  • Like how Wolverine is dropped in X-men First Class, yet in classic wolverine fassion tells Charles and Magneto to "F" off

  • like if you didnt understand a wod he said

  • Trust Beast... He's a Doctor.

  • Can't help but think that another director would've chosen not to play that classic line for laughs.

  • WTF wolverine is to emotional here.

  • omg... they actualy thought of putting that in...? wtf... that would have made the movie even worse, and I didn't think that was possible

  • @YouKnowThatYouDont what was wrong with iyt I liked it

  • I honestly think Beast was the only real good thing to come out of this film.

  • I think the real problem with this scene was the overdeveloped emotion. Ratner probably told Grammer to deliver the line with emotion and when he did he realized the mistake. I could see Beast doing this same exact line, but in his calmer, mellower, self.

  • "This is Dr. Hank McCoy ....I'm listning."

  • the only thing missing is a pint of Guiness at the end for a toast in the name of battle

  • i see why they deleted it, Beast the drunk Irishman right here

  • Is there an extended version of this scene?

  • Shouldn't have cut it. It might've made this movie more bearable.

  • I love how everyone just clams up and stares at Beast with "WTF" looks when he starts ranting.

  • beast on this movie is like a total rip off of goldust XD

  • Why the hell was this scene cut? It added so much more desperately-needed heart to this movie. Blergh

  • I am glad that this scene was deleted :D

  • i would have left this scene but i would have used another quote comming from kelsey grammer it just doesnt have the same power as someone else like patrick stewart

  • Saw him in La Cage Aux Folles on Broadway, and I'm always so amazed at that role in comparison to Beast. Great actor!

  • I just see him as a large blue Fraiser.

  • @itsCAKEfan Lol, I had a moment where I thought it was...

  • @itsCAKEfan I thought I was the only one!!! ^^ ha ha

  • @itsCAKEfan yeah this would be more believable if you had never seen frasier hahaah. it's just so hard to seperate him from the character lol. but he does a great job, and the characters aren't entirely unlike.

  • X3 was a let down.....I'm pissed Bryan Singer left the series. Beast looks horrible....should've computer generated him. Story was weak. Cyclops and Prof X die to give Wolverine more screen time....when this should have been a Scott and Jean movie, which is what the "Dark Phoenix Saga" was really about. This movie was about merchandising and squeezing as many mutants as they could into it..."X-Men First Class" really put the franchise back on track I'm glad to say...

  • Good thing Beast said that shit, otherwise they would've chickened out.. "We're in"

hands down for the real hero.. Beast!! and ofcourse Shakespeare

  • Love it. I mention Beast in one my new raps on profile come to think of it..

Please check it out if you'd be so kind! Much love.

  • they did to well casting kelcey grammer or however you spell it for beast, make up too was flawless

  • Wolverine is like "You tell em bud", and Colossus is like, "You're my hero", and Kat and Ice are both "WTF??". Awesome

  • blue fraiser recites shakespeare

  • well i can see why they deleted it

  • Wow that's all I have to say

  • Loved it, nothing wrong with a little theatricality. Why does everything in this age have to be so realistic? It's a comic book movie after all, Kelsey Grammer was moving as Beast.

  • i dont remember, but did beast appear in this movie

  • @JocJav XD you're a legend man! :D

  • @Vincelj88 traga mi chele

  • Who's the furball?

  • Like how they add in the scholar aspect, but ti just seems forced here.

  • Scott should have use his eyes

  • Would have been nice to add this aspect of beast into the released film but this particular exert from Shakespeare was much too long and it seemed like he was acting out the play as it was written. Would have been much more moving and effective if it was shorter and spoken softly. Almost as if a whisper, but firm.

  • yh i'm glad they took that out not becuase its bad its actually pretty good and well read but it sorts of spoils the atmosphere if they'd put him reading shakespeare somewhere else in the film it would've been cool if this is anything to go by

  • Killer Bob

  • This should have been the cast of first class +/- a few characters....

  • Beast was probably the only thing they got right in this movie.

  • I love Beast so much. XD

  • Beast looks and sounds like a Scottish blue Avatar here.

  • Look at iceman at 0:44. That explains the whole scene.

  • @alexman378 Maybe he wanted Beast to say "The Ice Man Cometh?" =P

    Good scene.

  • @alexman378 i dont get it

  • the quote was too long....should have been simple or cut out cause it breaks the flow of the drama
