Here's reason why Japan's IT is failing. 1) When the world was converting to Digital, Japan took eons to convert and adopt. It's pure darwinism. Change or die. 2)Japan became isolated to create its own standards and products for its own audience and ignored the global trends. Same reason why Korea and China fell behind when the West knocked on their door. Instead of opening up, they shut their doors. Japan didn't. Now it's Japan making that mistake. How ironic.

Okay so korea got their modern technology from japan. but where did japan get their's? That's right bitches, the Western civilization! USA AND EUROPE! Americans invented the automobile, computers, telephones, internet, airplanes, televisions, cellphones, etc, etc, etc. You japs took those technologies, adapted it to your own and plagerize it as your own just as you complain that koreans do that to you guys! I also heard you guys failed to launch your second rocket to space? is it true that you guys ask the Russians to launch your satellites? Come on, its the 21st century!!! btw, Japan was the third country to launch a rocket into space after USA and Russia. Please face the reality.

@japboy1988 Samsung still beats sales of 9 Japanese companies all combined(including Sony, Panasonic, Hitachi, Toshiba, Sharp, Casio, etc etc) by 50%. LMAO Sony has -40.8 billion dollars net income in 2010 while Samsung did 32 billion dollars by June, 2010. Howard Stringer is apparently not doing a good job man...they should fire him.

Also, please face the reality that the biggest market lies in small scale products such as DRAM, transistors, lithium batteries, etc and next gen. products. Korea leads in technology of transistors, panels, all sorts of tech and especially GRAPHENE, which just received nobel prize for them right? graphene will take over silicon in years and it will be huge, it should be enough to boost up korea by FAR above world standard
