I stood at the North Gate at Hougoumont Farm this summer. Incredible to think that the outcome of the battle rested on the defence of it by the Guards. What happened in an area of about 50 square yards over 30 minutes would usher in peace in Europe for the next 50 years

@empororofultra34 "reenactment" and it matters what u want to do. if u want to be a drummer, around 11 and up, infantry with my group u can be as young as 14.

You can be a drummer if you're too young, i think it's 15 when you can be a soldier.
