Very colorful game indeed. At any moment I expected to see pink unicorns spraying fairy dust, but horses with green mane are close enough. Well, I played quite a lot arcade games, my last (before consoles and computer became more powerful) was Tecmo Knight (or Wild Fang) that probably no soul ever played. Eh and swearing just make arguments or emotion stronger, nothing wrong with it....
@MegaChaos79 oh that episode makes me hurt. What were they thinking? I really despised her character. Such an arrogant bitch. Imagine if it was the other way around and a Klingon woman had interfered in the raising of a Betazoid child that way, encouraging them to play with knives and filling their head with ideas about dying a glorious death in battle. I doubt Lwaxana would have been okay with that. Fucking hypocritical control freak.
The Super Nintendo version was good, although Nintendo did censor it. For instance, a later level in the arcade version had you fighting Native Americans but they were replaced with bandits. The women were more modestly dresssed, female enemies were removed entirely and so were the pitchforks. :(
Cormano (pink poncho man) or Bob were the best characters to use as they had shotguns, which made the game easier.
@MegaChaos79 damn Nintendo. First they took my Mortal Kombat blood and now this. Don't they realise that's the sort of bullshit that makes a teenager want to kill?
I'll have to play again with Cormano or Bob, because I love shotguns.
I love this game, but up until now I've been playing the Mega Drive version.
After having seen this I'll have to go play the arcade version as it looks way better (and a fair bit different)
Oh and fuck anyone that has a problem with swearing; They are the same brain-dead retards that meddle in tons of other things they shouldn't be allowed to, like gay marriage and marijuana prohibition.
@Quimbyrbg yeah the consoles of the time could never really keep up with the arcade technology.
I also find that a lot of people who have a problem with swearing tend to be religious, even though there's nothing in their holy books about swearing being bad. Also the same type who meddle in the things you mentioned. Penn and Teller have a great episode of Bullshit about profanity.
Six gun? I never heard of that, I heard of six shooter. Interesting.
I remember the game coming to a nearby (then) arcades. Fucking hard to find it without several people waiting to play it. I enjoyed the theme more than the actual gameplay. I wanted an FPS or Red Dead Redemption game in this theme, though I didn't know it yet.
I love westerns. On VHS and TV I must have watched 100s.Modern westerns are boring, too much attention to surroundings and feelings, they forget the action.
@JimPlaysGames No idea, too many of them. I can you can try some spaghetti westerns first, Clint's early work was good at that, or the Trinity series (love them) with Terrence Hill, like My Name is Trinity.. Or classics with John Wayne Rio Bravo, True Grit etc, or Jimmy Stewart's How the west was won, or The man from Laramie, or High Noon with Garry Cooper (among my personal fav films), etc.
@psionicman that sounds brilliant. I never saw one like that. I'd have spent all day in there. Might have tried to hide at closing time so I never had to leave :D
one of the best games from the good old days.

Didn't "A Fistful of Datas" feature Data dressed as a women?
Oh, and I agree with you about Alexander. Even worse, they made an episode featuring both him AND Lwaxana Troi!

@Trusteft I'm not sure where to start with westerns. Where would you recommend starting? Do you have a favourite?
