Pro-choice means having a decision. The pro-lifers don't seem to understand that they already win by having the decision. I'm anti-abortion, pro-choice. No one has a right to rip a baby's arms off and throw that baby in the trash. If anyone does that or has a part in bringing such a crime about they are to be given a fair and speedy trial and upon conviction surely, swiftly, painfully and publicly executed.

i don't consider a mass of DNA in someone's womb to be a baby yet. executing someone for having/giving an abortion? it is barbaric to even suggest such a thing. It is up to the pregnant woman, and her alone, to decide whether an abortion is right for her or not.

Vanilla-how can you explain the "war versus abortion" argument? There have been historical events that have taken away one's liberties and freedoms. Slavery, the holocaust, women not having the right to vote....abortion is another.

I am pro-choice. If their heads are being brutally ripped off as you say, then obviously by that time they have lost their ability to feel pain (if they even had it in the first place). Abortion is not wrong, and it should be a choice. Besides, if you know that your child is going to be born with some horiffic defect I think it is a good thing that they don't allow their child to be born, so they won't be stuck with a crappy life.

It is better for the child not to live than to have a bad life. I would never wish mental retardation, Down syndrome, or a birth defect on anyone, not even you. Especially not my own child.
