I'm sorry but growing anything but cronic in a hydro system seems a bit rediculous. Seems like too high of a cost for the amount that the product is going to be worth(unless its the good stuff of course).
But you can crank out cycles of Veggie plants like nothing, so you can have some good good eats to chow down on once youre stoned, nothing like puffin on some homehydro then eating some indoor tomatoes!
Great setup. I'm in the process of setting up my first system. I have tomatoes started from seed (6 days so far without germination). Just wondering how often you had to check the PH and TDS and what you used to correct any PH problems. Also, what nutrients are you using? I'm running into town this afternoon to pick up some FloraSeries nutrients. Any recommendations or wisdon you can share from your experience? -Thanks
looks like perlite in the beginning, but in the bag where he mentions it it looks like that green foam they use to hold fake flowers in place. i've heard of it being used, but it's not a great idea.
I grew the tomatoes from seed, in soil a few months ago. Same with the peppers, and the two flowers that are there. The green beans in the center are from seed, they are only two weeks old!
I was going to say... you must have been putting something that you'd usually find in a Chinese swimmer's kit bag in the water if they grew that big after such a short time. :) But yeah, they're looking good!
Did you grow those tomatoes from seeds in there or from young plants? They're an impressive size if they're only 2 weeks old.
If plants really do respond well to being spoken to, what happens to them if they listen to Howard Stern? Are you going to get some obscenely shaped veggies? :) -SW

The tomatoes were from seeds. And the two weeks I think I meant to refer to having the system up for.
ps.. they like Howard Stern! ;)
