Alright so nice vid man, im also trying to learn this 1 atm, but one question i have. U know the verse riffs, im really struggling to pick out what ppl r playing. I mean to try to put it simply, ur basically playing the same powerchord and the only change is 1st half the palm mutes r 5th fret, 6th string, then there is a couple of notes and it goes to palm mutes on the 6th fret 5th string. And all the while the powerchord is a 3rd fret 3rd string, 7th fret 4th string?

@promany5 Thank you! And The best advice I can give is to train your ear. Start with simple stuff like older System Of A Down, that's where I started. Then I moved to Metallica. Ozzy is good to learn too. But I'd save for lessons, they'll teach you loads of stuff to help with technique. Also, watch "Rock Discipline" by John Petrucci
