  • From one looping artist to another.... right on man!

  • The cahon you are using....does it have a pick up in it? Or just a mic?

  • @dickstarbuck13 No pickup. Just mic'd.

  • hey man that was great. Im looking to get into live looping, much like keller williams does, what are some models that you would reccomend?

  • @MrManwitaplan Looping is so much fun. I don't recommend or endorse any one company as far as loopers go. My advice would be to go check out a few models at your local music store and see what would suit you the best depending on your budget. Best of luck!

  • i love the people on the other side of the fence like WTF?

  • This guy is my looping inspiration.

  • Hey man, this is fantastic. Have you ever seen Phil Keaggy's work on a loop pedal? Truly inspirational...

Search YouTube for "Phil Keaggy Salvation Army Band" and enjoy! He's one of the best and most unheard of guitarist ever

  • Fantastic... Is that the RC-50 by boss you are using?... I have just started using the digitech stereo jamman... It's my first dive into live looping... how would you rate the digitech compared to the boss rc-50?... is it worth the extra $200?

  • @SimonWojcik1 Yes, in this video I'm using the RC-50. I think that in the end what you do with the loop pedal is more important than what pedal you are actually using. Both Digitech and Boss make great loop stations but it's really the people that play with them that have put both companies on the map. There are others. Have fun with what you have and you can't lose!

  • Should have ripped out a solo in G (Harmonic) minor. It would have gone perhaps a little eastern but would have been a sweet way to experiment outside of pentatonic. Sweet looping though love your stuff.

  • Buddha's rockin out

  • Do your neighbors enjoy your music ? :P

    I know I do :)

  • loved all breakouts and transitions, and percussion parts.

i kept waiting for Buddha to get up and start dancing all over.

    hahaha!

really good start and stops Jason.

    its really good!

and btw its the best ending ive seen for a loop station tune.

    perfect.

  • @FarmDirt Thanks so much! Glad you enjoyed it.

  • damn!!

  • again man your are great...cant wait to have a rc 50...one day...for now using a simple rc 2...peace

  • Wow. extremely nice. Would you mind sharing your signal path and also the pedals/ looper you're using?

    Thanks,

    -Matt-

  • Thanks Matt. Much appreciated. I'm using a BOSS RC50 loop station in this video.

  • Whats your signal path to your mixer/pa?? I just bought a looper and am wondering the best way too hook up instruments/ mics to the looper/mix. Let me know if you don't mind.

    Thanks

  • I use a mixer. I just wouldn't feel right telling you exactly how I set this up. I had so much fun experimenting over the course of a year to find what I wanted that I encourage all others to do the same. Enjoy the new looper!

  • i duno how many ppl asked u this but r u the guy playing the instruments? anywais if ur not its still cool this videos great!

  • Yep it's me playing in these videos. Thanks so much for watching!

  • alright man thanks ill subscribe to your music. maybe go to a concert too.

  • risenwretch u sound jealous.. just chill find something you have tallent in and post in on youtube!

  • lol i remember this video had only like 100 views, but its so awsome XD it deserves 100000 good job man great video

  • u know u r good when people can't even believe u r doing it live!!!!! ;) for the record though...i have seen him on more than one occasion live...and it is all skill!!!!!

  • I find it a little funny that you have to defend that this was done live. In any case, nice job once again.

  • Are you just using a bass pod or are you going through an isolation cabinet for your Beatle Bass?

  • The Beatle Bass is plugged into a mixer.

  • i would like to know the bass tabs 3:20 :)

  • Well, I probably won't get around to writing them out but it's in C minor using the pentatonic scale at the 8th fret if that helps!

  • how did you manage to cut out ambient noise if this was recorded outside as shown? o.0

  • The audio source is not from the camera. I record everything I do with a direct patch from my mixer for higher quality sound.

  • Not sure what you're implying here but everything you hear is recorded by the Mics you can see clearly in the video which is in turn all patched into a mixer then out to my looper and back to a second mixer (which is where I recorded the audio).

  • You appeared on wowhobbs oage, but anyways, you are more skilled than him!

    Good job 5/5.
