Hmmm. Are there objective studies that show there is actually a "crystal gene"? The traits of the so called 'special" children are also like the traits of people who simply lack social skills or communication skills. Control the emotions to make sense of which are your's and which are there's, lest you begin to act out on other peoples emotions thinking there youre own. I am a light worker and quite busy in all of it....recently had occasion to witness approximately 80% adolescent multi national children who were indigo, 10% or so crystal in a group of 80 or so.....several of the others were on "stand ready" as warriors....avg. age 15....somewhat clinical herein but quite moving ...what a blessing to find them working so well at what they do....anyone else finding this?

Some people may be both Crystal and Indigo, or at least show characteristics of both. I always thought it had to do with the aura and the level at which one's aura "vibrates".

@StarvingForTruth I too would have said the same thing before I had my son. But since he's been able to speak, he has always spoke of his mission here on the planet. That he has come here to help save everyone and that love is the only thing that will save us. When you have a 3 year old who is worried about nuclear war and disease and cries because he is worried about fulfilling his "mission," you gotta wonder. He was diagnosed with asperger's when he was 7.

@StarvingForTruth Oh and just for the record, I haven't been feeding any of this into his mind. Actually, I considered myself a logical thinking, agnostic, leading toward atheism, type of person until just a couple years ago. MY SON with all his GIFTS is why my entire life has changed. Do I believe he is here for a mission? Damn right I do! Do I label him? Nope.. Neither with Asperger's or Crystal. He is just who he is. And that is wonderful in my eyes.

I've also met a lot of parents who imagine they seen behaviors from their kids that oddly, nobody else sees.
EVERYone is here on the same 'mission'. Nobody is unique or special. Everyone has 'gifts'.
I'm glad you think he's wonderful, and I'm sure that he is. But that's got nothing at all to do with this made-up new age nonsense.

wow. this is severely toying with kids. there's no such thing as 'crystal people'. this is a horrendous, elitist, damaging belief system that only serves to make adults with personal problems feel special. it's like, an extreme version of the father who lives vicariously through his son by making him play quarterback... as a long time child care worker and life time seeker, i am horribly appalled by this cult-like, egoistic phenomenon. it's truly chilling. it makes me literally sick.

I don't really go for the 'royal bloodlines' conspiracy theories, a-la david icke.
I think this entire thing is crap. It was all made up by people who wanted to sell books in the seventies, and has come to mean whatever anyone likes to think it should mean. Which is the logical equivalent of saying, it doesn't mean anything. It's a clusterfuck of projected wishes and dreams, and serves to soothe the egos of people with great needs.
And it creates obnoxious kids.

my daughter is indigo but seems to be more ... i dont want to say gifted because that is not what it is. a more advanced indigo spirit almost to the point of a crystal but she isnt autistic is it possible to be both indigo and crystal?
