I know how hard it can be jumping in and out to hook up. Check out Kringstad Ironworks and their "Safe-T-Pull Overview" video here on YouTube and let me know what you think. The video is posted by "SilentKiller805" Its a practical pulling accessory that making getting out a breeze. Much cheaper than other methods. NO NEED TO GET OUT TO HOOK UP!
thanks for putting these on, too many people have no idea as to how much work goes into producing the foodstuffs that are available in Safeway. Truly enjoy the vids, reminds me of when was fortunate enough to consider myself a direct part of production agriculture. Learning of ensilage is good, not very common in western dryland wheat belt while the combines are ordinary view. Keep posting videos.
this is something that does not happen in texas we cut corn in 70 to 80 degrees in september. now when we start stripping cotton in november it gets down to freezing but most of the time no snow
As long as the temp stays below around 25 and no sun, it is cold enough the snow runs through just like trash. We haven't had anything above 15 all week so far.
@dairyfarmer83 We sometimes pick beans in a foot of snow when we put beans in as a second crop behind wheat, as long as shes cold then she runs right through
LOL My uncle used to take flex pipe and run it off the exhaust and stick it in the fan intake problem solved

Don't you find the snow goes into the combine and makes everything stick to the sieves? Keep the wheels turnin' and the diesel burnin!

Yes that would do it. Up here in Ontario the temp has been holding around 28-32.
