  • The Fan exercise does nothing to build your forearms or wrists. The weight of the bat in the back and forth motion is doing all the work therefore the potential for wrist injury occurs each time you stop hard. You WILL feel it and will cause injury especially if the bat you use is heavy. The Vertical Snap exercise should be performed in your normal swing motion and stop as you are in the hitting zone. Not a chopping motion. I like the Figure 8 exercise.

  • super gay.

  • swing strengthener. com

  • will it work with any bat

  • i swing with a wiffle bat and my bat speed has improved tremendously

  • I'd love to raise my hand and pimp smack that kid with the had chewing bubble gum like a jerk!

He's feeling way to cool to do those exercises!!!!

  • iuse my brothers t-ball bat

  • stupid!!! You don't train your muscles to to shit it ain't supposed to do. your going to feel it the next day because your drills are like bending to touch your toes and bouncing at the bottom. I like the one where you can knock yourself in the face. Brilliant. Fast twitch muscle fibers . Thats genetics.

  • These are great drills and I am sure they will help my golf game as well.

  • lol .. so in other words i could grab my 34 ounce woody and do the same exact drills? or just grab weights and get my forearms right? or do my rice buckets..but instead ill buy a yellow stick?? hahaha

  • Not being a smart ass but what is "do my rice buckets"?

  • Roger Clemens reference

  • @rcdd2002 rice buckets are exactly what they sound like, you fill a bucket with rice and you just force your way to the bottom and just keep working your way at the rice, this will improve your grip strength and build tiny muscles forearms that dont usually get worked. they also help pitchers for their hand strength.

    hope this helped =)

  • i do this with a 34" wood with 30oz weights on top

  • does it work?

  • yeah it works pretty good. i swing a sledgehammer in addition. which makes the bat feel like 3 oz

  • I do this with 34"wood

  • cant i just use my little bros 20 oz bat? or is something special (i dont see ) about this bat

  • line the knucles up bad hand positioning ..

  • Every good batter who is giving tips says to line up knuckles. It seems awkward, but after we show the girls how this is done, they are nailing it out of the infield.

  • this guy doesnt know what he is talking about

  • you dont know what your talking about. hes trying to generate quicker bat speed while strengthening the forearm muscles to drive to ball harder.

  • that looks like batter up in vegas

  • where can i buy a bat like that?

  • hittingstore. com

  • what is a good alternative for this bat?

    Just a lighter bat?

    What do you suggest?

    Thanks

  • couldn't you use a regular bat for this exercise though

  • yes, but a regular bat could be a little heavy.

  • true

  • how heavy would u say that this bat is? maybe 17 oz

  • @blacksteam56

yeah, they just want you to buy this SPECIAL piece of foam :) or go to any sporting good store in the usa and buy a wiffle ball bat haha, its the same thing for about $5

  • what exactally is the bat... it looks like a broomstick pretty much

  • It has a metal core and a foam exterior. The larger paet of the bat is a the same position as the sweet spot on a traditional bat.

  • how is it different from the swift stick? is it weighted at all?

  • where can i buy this bat

  • it will be out in about 4 weeks

  • thanks, will it be on like hittingstore?

  • yeah

  • how much do u think it will be

  • It looks like the Swift stick is it not?

  • no, swift sticks are slightly different, the SS is mor built for actual hitting.

  • You want actual hitting? USE AN ACTUAL FREAKING BAT! This bat and the swiftstik are for muscle memory training theyre light so you can take as many hacks as you want. But be advised, when you get tired, stop and rest or wait till the next day to resume. Its perfect practice not practices makes perfect. Most of all, step up to the plate with a plan, read the pitcher, wait for your pitch and work his or her ass.

  • youve obviously never played baseball at a very high level to make a statement like that

  • wspp60 is right. perfect practice does make perfect. not practice makes perfect, because if you're a lazy ass in practices, and you practice that way perfectly (being a lazy ass) then you're always going to play like a lazy ass.

  • Where can I purchase a speed bat?

  • hitting

  • hey thanks for the tips im gonna practice this tomorrow
