@3KS26 Pretty much all LEDs/LCDs will seem washed out from off-axis viewing. You lose brightness and it tends to lose its natural colors. If you want a TV that looks great from all angles, we highly recommend checking out plasma HDTVs: paulstv.com/Plasma-Televisions/Plasma-Televisions.asp
I've got the 70"....I also have a 120" screen with Optoma hd20 projector...if you have a movie room kudos on projection...but the 70" is the way to go for livingroom setting...
