this song is about my boyfriend and i, we started off as friends and he had to move to texas from california because his family couldn't afford to live here anymore. as we fell in love, i waited for him over a year without seeing him and finally he decided he loved me and wanted to come back to cali on his own to be with me. We've been happily together for 4 years. this song reminds me of our time apart, how hard it was, and how amazing it was when I finally kissed him for the first time.

Kenny wrote the song, or Ken Vasoli if you want me to be specific. He went to my high school and they've been a band since like 1999. But they were a band without kenny for a while then they posted some thing somewhere about needing a singer and the rest is history kenny became the singer and bam there ya go. but i remember seeing tsl at my high school battle of the bands in 2002 so im not sure when the song was written but they were definately a band at that point.

It says officially that all songs are written by The Starting Line. So you cant be sure that it was kenny but for the most part he wrote the lyrics since hes the singer so im saying it was kenny. They recorded the EP in his basement, and the prize fight guys bedroom so kennys actually the producer too. They recorded from august 2002 - april 2003. It officiallly came out on november 2003. But im sure there were leaks and shit. anyways i hope that answers what you want washdcis100

This is when Geffen told them to fuck off and stopped promoting them. I remember when this was on bastards of young, summer of 05'. They dropped a new CD and Geffen didnt do shit about it.Itsreally really too bad because with Kens pretty face and voice, and their huge fan base,and stage presence, the sky could have been the limit.Oh well, another reason why suits shouldnt be in the music industry.Its too bad that bands like Jonas Brothers strive.

First off, Kenny ALWAYS acts like that live...he isn't high.

Secondly, the mixing is FINE...you can hear both guitars, you just can't distinguish which is which. Go to 2:35 and you can hear their guitars off of each other. They're both playing the exact same thing, or close to it
