He is clearly singing over a prerecorded vocal track during the verses (and not a chorus effect - you can tell by the slightly different lyrics and timings), which is fine - it's the best way to get that effect.

It may not be a backing track, but rather a vocal doubling processor with micro-modulation to make it sound like two natural voices singing.  Very common. It just makes choruses sound fuller (better).

Man, they sound great live, which makes it so much easier to completely commit to enjoying their music. It also sounds like they have figured out how to use Artificial double tracking when they perform live. If you listen closely, you'll hear that it almost sounds like two people are singing the same notes.

many probably won't agree, but he's really not singing, he's simply talking with music backing his voice. it's basically singing the ABC's, he remains perfect with pitch because there isn't any high or low notes, it's neutral.

@sebaslizarazu this technique is more common than you think. it's not really frowned upon much because it gives the song a chorus effect. like two people singing at the same time. his orignal voice is still much louder than the prerecorded track, so it's not like he is miming the song.

100% backing track the snare on this song is very upfront dry compared to the other songs in the session. you can see the drummer at the start the click track. he then plays 4 hits on the hat after that you hear the click track. I expect they mixed a little of his room in to the mix, there is also a double tracked vocal.

vocals are not dubbed. bassist is singing backups, doubling his voice. no two voices are ever 100% alike, so you get a bit of a chorusing effect due to slight pitch differences.

yeah definitely, it takes away all the overtones of the drum, stops it from resonating as much as it could, so it deadens the sound, but i love that sound on a snare haha. I'm sure it's got to do with the mix as well, you can add so many effects to drums it's insane.

that guitar is a rosewood tele and it is what harrison used on the roof. you can still buy them. and they are quite expensive.

if you do go through the fender custom shop, don't bother, tom anderson guitar works does a way better job and are around the same price. if you're not a huge beatles fanatic.
