@Carolynb9189 actually Stephanie Meyers pictured the lead from the Covenant (pictured here) as the lead for Jacob when she wrote the book. Steven Strait they decided wasnt right for the part when they met Taylor Lautner because he was Native American and they wanted it to be more authentic.. So she had it right in SM's mind when the book was written.. And I used him in one of my fanmades as well... but I use TL more because that is Jacob :o)

because the second book is about how edward leaves and she spends the rest of the book being friends with Jacob and missing Edward. The second book is mostly Bella- Jacob
