Yeah great effort, but it was never a big thing in lord of the rings and i doubt it that hardcore lotr fans will watch it a lot because we have gotten used to the main characters in original lotr. Does not look too lotr like for me.

Hardcore lord of the rings fans will enjoy moments of the book more than that bad version from Peter Jackson. I mean the look of the lotr movies is close to perfect but the changes made are bad to worse. (I dont refer to cut out scences/moments, I mean the stupid shit Peter Jackson came up with)

First of all I dont hate the movies, I just say there are severe changes that were just made to create crappy standart hollywood moments.

Like the evil Faramir, or Aragorn refusing to take Anduril from the start, or elves at the hornburg, or the seperation of Frodo and Sam before shelobs lair and many more. These are just unnecessary and clearly not in the will of Tolkien. Although its is frequently said in the making offs that its supposed to be Tolkiens movie.

As I said from the looks, its pretty much perfect, Weta did an awesome job! But as a reader you must know that unnecessary changes have been made and that change many points that Tolkien tried to make and I cannot understand. Cut outs, I can understand, they are needed because you wouldnt be able to make the movies without cutting but unecessary changes show that PJ wanted to leave his marks in the story and not just make a film version of the book.

OK guys I've done some research. Apparently this is a new LOTR film, but yes it's been by fans for fans. Saying that, the quality is amazing. It's a fuly pro film by all accounts made for the Internet and will be screened on daily motion online only from the 3rd of MAy, so its out in like a couple of weeks. This is AWSOME, but I'm not sure why I haven't heard of this before!?! Cant wait.
