Thanks for sharing. I was fortunate enough to hide down into Haleakala and spend the night in the cabin. It was an unforgettable experience waking up to the call of the Nee Nee Geese, the hike up the switchbacks was grueling for me. I wish I had a video camera at the time - I have some incredible photos, it looks like another planet - Mars? Could you feel the incredible energy?
