One of the best 'white' soul singers? What is that?.......Larry bird was one of the best white basketball players?......ha....Paul Carrack is a great singer even if he was green or purple. He writes songs that sound like the classic Motown stuff. A great artist.....

Paul is old school - he can sing, play all the instruments including drums, guitar and Hammond B3 AND he is a great songwriter in his own right. He is paying his dues here to the boss, Marvin Gaye but really he belongs in the same group of artistes... and I fear we wont see the likes of them ever again. Go see him live its fantastic, a proper SOUL Man

As Phil Collins once said, Paul could sing the yellow pages and it would still sound fantastic !! Mr Collins is a big fan of pauls aswell
