These clips from Little House make me cry and cry and cry and cry and cry and cry and cry and cry and cry and cry cry and cry and cry and cry and cry and cry and cry and cry and cry and cry cry and cry and cry and cry and cry and cry and cry and cry and cry and cry cry and cry and cry and cry and cry and cry and cry and cry and cry and cry. And puke. Just kidding. :-)
That's not the same character as the one who took Charles' oxen. His name was Liam O'Neil. Charles helps Mr. McKay. His son, Abel, (played by Dan Blocker's son, Dirk) was helped by Caroline when she taught school for an injured Miss Beadle. He was older than the other kids & couldn't read. Mr. McKay was against him going to school at first, but then relented & said it's up to him. Mrs. Oleson humiliates him & he runs out. Caroline convinces him to come back & in this episode, he's in school.
You are very right. Alison Arngrim was good as Nellie. I'm not gonna get into Nellie character, but in real life she's one of the nicest people you'll ever want to know. She's a lot like Toni Tennille. She's very, very nice with tons of class!!!
I know! my mom knew allison because she was freinds with her older brothers girlfriend she said she was really nice but that her brother was really messed up O.o
I'm sorry about the brother, but I know Alison is very nice and has tons of class just like Toni Tennille. If I ever met Alison, I would tell her so. I'd also request an autographed glossy from her. I'd put it next to my picture of Toni Tennille.
I´ve just seen some chapters of Little House, it remains me so much things that i have in mind. There´s no series like this one, i like so much, i watch it again, and again, and again, and everytime i watch it, i love so much. It was a good idea to share it with everyone. Regards, from Mar del Plata, Argentina,I´m Jorge and i´ll be 50 soom. Congratulations co´s i´ve spent a very good time of my childhood. Bye.
In a sense he was laid off. So Mary stayed out of school or a while so she could work full time. The family really chipped in to help Charles when he was deeply in dept.
Caroline Ingalls was Beautiful--inside and out!! The whole family was so neat!

Katherine MacGregor played the old bat so well. Only a good actress can make such a believable nasty character.

Mary got $1.70 for a week of sewing. Wow, what an interesting coincidence. That is the same amount Nike pays their shoe factory workers in Asia.
ClamLuvr 4 years ago 14
@ClamLuvr Dude $1.70 is a lot of money back in the 1800s.
goldbond2008 1 year ago
@ClamLuvr Do they really get that much? damn that explains the pricetag on Nike shoes :-O (irony might be used)
Zlay3r 8 months ago
you do realize that $1.70 a week was NOT like Nike's discusting factory, it was 100 years ago??

Actually, we do have mountains on the prairie. If you aren't careful, you might trip over one when you are walking across a wheat field.
