Incredible, I've seen you do the Ray Charles so many times, and it still surprises me when it comes together... Early on there's just no way, and then it pops! Great, inspired work, a really neat, down to earth guy who's getting the success that he's worked so hard for and deserves. Way to go, Dan, and congratulations to you and your family!
I love this!! Such a creative idea, totally unique, great to watch, and you get a wonderful work of art to remember it after! I love mixing performance and visual art!
As a side note, I've seen another video where you did this same painting and was wondering why you played Kanye this time?
Because Ellen likes this song and that was one of the requests to get on her show. We also had to do it in 4 minutes. the original version was almost 6:00. Whew!
Ohh... okay, just wondering. Thanks for replying! And I had noticed that you seemed a bit rushed (didn't have quite as much time for audience interaction), but you still did a fabulous job! I love the reaction shots, especially the girl whose jaw is literally dropped. In fact... I've seen that reaction before, from myself, my mom, and others I've shown. Thanks for sharing!
Do you have a website or anything that shows where/when you have a paintjam?
omg...finally found this video! =D
