  • What software did you use to make this transient flow simulation??

  • FAST (Flow Analysis Software Toolkit) an entire software kit for analyzing data from numerical simulations. Based on CFD visualization, this package can be used to visualize any scalar and vector data that can be mapped to a PLOT3D or unstructured grid. The package has tools for calculating user defined scalar and vector quantities from the original data, generating surfaces, particle traces, and isosurfaces, and determining topological features of vector fields.

  • All this cost the U.S. taxpayer millions of dollars in R and D but you can download all this and more for FREE at nas. nasa. gov/Resources/Software/swdescriptions. html#FAST the best things in life are free!

  • Hi again Asena1970, thanks VERY much for the info. The timing could not be better. I was undecided about what to do with some hardware that was donated to us, but I could make a 16 processor Beowulf with it, and do simulations like these.

Might you be willing to share your setup files for the model of the PDE or other simulations you might have done?

Might you know of electrical engineering software thats Beowulf friendly?
